KEi together with NBK in an Indian organization?
The rumor season on the Counter-Strike scene has apparently begun in earnest. This time, there were unofficial reports related to one of the Polish players who would join forces, among others with a CS legend from France.
Kamil "KEi" Pietkun has been associated with 9INE since autumn 2022. He even played with this formation at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, as well as several other prestigious events. Then, when the core of the team left for ENCE, he unexpectedly decided to stay, becoming part of the new lineup.
However, this team never followed up on the successes of the previous team and began to gradually fall apart in recent weeks. Finally, it fell to Pietkun himself, who was placed on the Niners' bench a few days ago. “I will look at other options,” the 23-year-old immediately announced. And it is possible that he has already found one. At least that's what unofficial sources say.
KEi would be associated with the Indian organization Revenant Esports. However, the Pole is not the only player associated with this brand. His clubmate would be the famous Nathan "NBK" Schmitt. The two-time world champion has previously represented, among others: G2 Esports and Team Vitality, and recently he played for Team Falcons, where he has been on the bench since November.
In the Saudi formation, his partner was Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea, who could seek his fortune in Revenant after an unsuccessful loan to BLEED Esports. It would be easy for him because his compatriot, Adelin "adeX" Nica from IKLI, would be a part of it. The identity of the last piece of the puzzle remains unknown.
According to rumors, this is what the Revenant Esports lineup will look like:
- Revenant Esports Kamil "KEi" Pietkun
- Adelin "adeX" Nica
- Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea
- Nathan "NBK" Schmitt
Leading dev1ce led Astralis to the IEM Chengdu playoffs
More decisions were made at Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu 2024. The next two teams secured their place in the play-offs, joining Team Liquid and MOUZ. The other four have already finished their adventure with the competition.
Astralis will definitely play in the knockout phase of IEM Chengdu 2024. And this is a big surprise, after all, the Danish team changed its host and Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz made his debut in this role. However, the experienced player helped his team achieve success, and not just any success.
After all, today the red star team turned out to be better than the world runners-up from FaZe Clan! Filip "NEO" Kubski's players were clearly powerless and it cannot be said that they did not deserve to lose. Previously, FlyQuest also had to accept failure. The new acquisitions of the American organization lost to Virtus.pro after a three-handed fight. And it is VP who will also appear in the playoffs of the Chinese tournament.
As for the unlucky ones, there were no major surprises here. It is worth mentioning, however, that the hosts no longer have any representative at IEM Chengdu. After all, today Steel Helmet and Lynn Vision landed overboard, thrown out by Nemiga Gaming and players Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas from G2 Esports, respectively. But it doesn't end there, because Wildcard Gaming, playing in a very mixed lineup, may also be packing its bags after being defeated by Cloud9. FURIA also presented itself in a not-the-best style. Latinos came to China with high hopes, but their hopes were brutally ended by Heroic.

OG says goodbye to his sniper. F1KA team with substitute
The rumors about changes in the OG have been confirmed. The international organization announced that its current sniper is leaving its Counter-Strike team. And all this on the day of an important match.
Iulian "regali" Harjău sat on the OG bench. The Romanian has previously played for Fnatic and Copenhagen Flames. He has been a member of the current team since June 2023, when he replaced Abdul "degster" Gasanov. There were high hopes for his involvement, as the 21-year-old had a lot of talent. However, he never managed to achieve significant success with his partners. Now he will have a lot of time to think about his future. Especially since the employer, after placing him on reserve, allowed him to look for a new home.
The composition of the OG is as follows:
- Maciej "F1KU" Miklas
- Nils "k1to" Gruhne
- Bram "Nexius" Campana
- Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko
- Mădălin-Andrei "MoDo" Mirea (substitute)
