The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Chapter 2 Is Coming

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners has fast become one of the hit gaming titles in virtual reality. Taking inspiration from The Walking Dead comic book series, the game gives players the opportunity to immerse themselves in all things zombie. And, after the success of the first instalment, chapter two is now reportedly on the way, sooner rather than later.

Let’s face it, The Walking Dead comic books series has had a significant impact on entertainment, with a hit TV show and even a Walking Dead slot game being incredibly popular. However, what none of the previously mentioned pieces of art allow for is a person actually to experience everything in an authentic style. And that’s where The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners enters the conversation because players of the VR title can get up close and personal with walkers.

By donning a VR headset, players can themselves step into a New Orleans landscape following a zombie apocalypse, where almost all humanity has been wiped out. Of course, it’s not just a case of exploring. There are hordes of zombies to deal with, so plenty of hacking and slashing is needed to survive. The weapons and items scattered around can make life easier, but they don’t guarantee survival, with the action remaining gripping and heart-stopping from start to finish.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners was the first opportunity players had to step into a zombie-infested world, feeling like they were there in person. And now Saints & Sinners 2 is moving closer to release, with the game expected to drop at some point this year. The second instalment in the hit series debuted as part of the Meta Quest Showcase, and as well as new settings, there are new weapons too.

And, if you were a fan of the first instalment of Saints & Sinners, which we believe everybody who played the game was, you’re in luck. The upcoming release will not only tie into the original, but it will more or less pick up where it left off. So, if all this sounds great to you, but you haven’t played The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners yet, you still have plenty of time to do so before the official release date is announced. And, if it’s a while since you played, maybe reacclimatise yourself with everything that went on.

The upcoming release will once again see players take on the role of the character known as The Tourist. And what’s really interesting is that decisions that players made in the original will have an impact on what unfolds in the new title. The campaign, which will be set in Louisiana, is predicted to take around 15 to 20 hours to complete, with all decisions helping or hindering a successful escape. Expect more zombie fuelled mayhem, plenty of hordes of the undead, and loads of slashing action.
