2133 AD: The curse of the number 13 inflicted on earth is found to originate from the exoplanet Xiicur.
\nYou are humanity’s best hope, tasked with gathering data from this planet to help rid everyone of this phobia.
\nCan you survive this harsh planet long enough to uncover the secrets behind the curse?
\nThanks for playing!

\nAlmost hypnotic, really great little game!
\nIf there was another enemy type that could shoot at the player then it would make them move about a bit more which would mitigate the fact that after a while you can pretty much AFK and come back to powerup more.

\nPlays really well, and the different abilities are fun. I maxed out the “Plasma Field” and felt pretty untouchable. Very satisfying to collect all the gems.
\nI think the different enemy types could have been introduced faster maybe? It wasn’t totally clear if I was making progress in the game at times

\nI wanted players to choose their own difficulty by making some powerups(like the plasma field) intentionally overpowered. Perhaps in a future version I could incentivize picking harder powerups and discourage the easy ones somehow.
\nI agree that enemy waves were not spaced in the best way, I thought it would be cool to have players survive 13 minutes, I guess just 4 enemy types may be a little less for that.

\nFinished with 6 death orbs, a large and deadly death field and poseidon’s rod!
\nThe first time I was not lucky at all with randomness, but later, when I discovered a plasma field for myself, it was no longer clear who was hunting whom :D.
\nVery playable, the music also adds to the gameplay. The characters look cool, good balance too!
\nOf the improvements I’d like to have, the ability to mute/unmute and more theme matching, everything else is great!
\nVery good, congratulations!

On my first playthrough, I lost at 3:26 with score 182. On the second playthrough, I had final score 9698. I started to feel invincible around 9 minutes in. Lightsaber felt powerful (maybe too powerful?) in the early game. I basically ignored all heal, max health, and movement speed powerups, and went 100% damage. Very fun and engaging experience. The music and sound effects fit perfectly. Great job!

Hardly enough to deal with the quickly growing horde of enemies!
\nOn my second playthrough I got the Plasma Field as my first update, which completely changed how the game played. I quickly maxed it out (although I didn’t understand the difference between Plasma Power and Plasma Damage upgrades) and then went for Laser Orbs (ending with 6 of them), magnets, and lightsabers. This build was so good that I don’t think I lost HP during the entire run and I barely had to move at all: waves after waves of enemies died at the perimeter around me, and when I moved, I just vacuumed the dropped gems. I felt powerful and invincible, which was fun, but at the end of the day, I think it was a bit too easy and can hurt replayability.
\nI loved just how many enemies there were on the screen. It resulted in total chaos and mayhem—just what I expected from the genre! Nice work on balancing the critter spawning curve and on the AI following the player. In particular, when I moved a lot, a huge menacing swarm would form just off the edge of the screen, and then I’d charge into it, plasma field around me. Mmmmmm :)
\nVery nice enemy art, and great music which develops steadily to match the pace of the gameplay. I also liked the subtle CRT effect.
\nJust before the timer hit 13:00, my entire screen was filled with enemies and suddenly, they all disappeared. The game continued for a few more seconds: I could move and collect the gems, but the UI was gone. It looked like a glitch, but perhaps it was intentional? And then, the victory screen appeared; my final score was 10,273.

\nThe progression is nice, I always felt ahead of the curve so there was nothing challenging / threatening the run (to be clear, this is perfectly acceptable balancing, just wanted to point this out: power spikes are more impactful if the player struggles at first.)
\nRe: CRT effect: I’m a big fan! Please lean into it more. Make it prominent.
\nAnyhow, a very solid title, GG!

\nI’ve played it so many times and could not vote for it because i was disturbed (kids, phonecalls, reaching my trainstation to get off, etc.) and then did not find the game in the list again, because i could not remeber the thumbnail-image…
\nBut now, i finally managed to vote for it :-)
\nGood game in the style of “Magic Survival” ( or Vampire Survivors for the younger among us ;-) )
\nI love the pixel-art and the masses of enemies at the same time on the screen.
\nGood controls, i preferred the mobile version a bit.

This is one of my favorite games in the competition, there are weapons, gadgets, powerups and even a fantastic video effect.
\nHow could it be improved? I don’t know, you have to ask the author, this game is great and as far as I can see it is already perfect as it is.
\nMaybe the triskaidekaphobia theme isn’t part of the gameplay, but I’m enjoying it madly.

The use of light around the player’s character creates a great sense of focus, especially in a survival game, where visibility can be a key part of the challenge. The soft color palette is pleasant and doesn’t overwhelm the screen, helping the player focus on the action.\nThe environment could benefit from a little more texture or variation to break up the solid colors of the background. Adding small details like rocks, plants, or minor animations in the background could enhance immersion and make the setting feel more dynamic.\nOverall, the game’s visuals do a great job of supporting the survival theme. The use of lighting effects adds a layer of tension to the gameplay, which complements the pixelated aesthetic. A solid effort that effectively conveys the atmosphere of exploration and danger!
