I played for a while, broke a bunch of blocks, found a box of carpet, and collected some ore. I’m not sure what else I’m suppose to do though? Huge amount of textures for a procedural 3d world, tons of things to craft. Dying of radiation exposure made it hard to figure out what to do, but it was still fun roaming around and gathering blocks. I picked a house and put in some crafted kitchen tiles. :D
\nIt looks like it was intended to be multiplayer, but I couldn’t connect or have my friend join when I was hosting.
\nWould definitely need to spend a while exploring to see what else I could unlock. Incredible that it fit in under 13k.

They can be really time consuming, and I could probably play this game for hours. There are many quests, and it’s difficult to stay alive. I love how the blocks are marked in a black border when selected. It makes it easier to play.
\nI will visit this game another time together with some friends so we can play together.
\nSome sound effects would be nice as well. Maybe some particle effects when destroying blocks. Further vision would also be nice, but maybe it’s too resourceful. Good job fitting this into 13kb.

\nTrying host game let me in, but I wasn’t sure what the goal of the game was other than being a minecraft style game. Which is quite impressive.
\nGraphics are good given you said it was all done in CSS. Which is even more impressive.
\nI could play for hrs, but I need more of a goal to work towards.

I have “search as you type” enabled in my browser, so every time I press a key it brings up the search. You should call .preventDefault() for all keyboard events to prevent this.
Unfortunately I was not able to experience this game in multiplayer. The game looks really good, but I think it might have suffered for it a bit because the gameplay itself was quite laggy on my machine. This game had an interesting premise, but the objectives unfortunately weren’t clearly spelled out too well.

Is there any clever way to give a player info about those extras? I mean - it’s obvious when you’re comparing the game versions while you have it open on the browsers with and without Coil Subscription, but if you’re not the Web Monetisation Category Expert on js13k Compo, you’d probably not do this. So, as a Coil Subscriber I would not know that this stuff is something very special just for me, and as a non-subscriber I would not know I can give the support to your game and get cool extra character creator in exchange - think about it ;)\nOverall - it was nice to hang around 13kB Minecraft, and even nicer to put some super cool clothes on my character in the character creator.
