I liked the overall presentation of the game. From a gameplay perspective, it’s too easy to just stay at the bottom of the level, wait for the “rich” to get money and continue there forever (the guards never became an issue).

What I would do is to allow rich NPC to spawn and walk only on the superior levels, to force you to be up there - once you steal from them, the guards chase you down until they lose you from sight (for example hiding in the lower level before going back up to steal more). This would make risk / reward more interesting.

Wow! It looks great, it sounds great, and I had a ton of fun jumping around bad guys while trying to get as much gold out of the rich as I could! Would’ve been cool to see more mechanics, but this is stellar work!

Most of the time I just kept at the very bottom, shooting left and right, which avoided the guards, while bringing in lots of money.

I would have enjoyed a bit more explanation, inside the game.\nLike controls being visible all the time, or an actual goal (can you lose this game?)

Having different levels would make it more replayable in my opinion, otherwise after 2 or 3 plays, you feel you’ve done it all!

The music is sick, really well done!

I enjoyed playing the game, the pixel graphics were great

This looks fantastic! Awesome sprite work. Sounds nice too.

It plays… well, the moment to moment stuff, movement, collision, the juice when coins are dropped, it’s all great, but in its current state it doesn’t add up to much yet because there’s no arc, no goals. You need something to pace out the gameplay, highs, lows, etc. There’s a start and an end, but no middle.

This is an awesome jam game though, and you’ve nailed so many basics. Looking forward to what you do next!

Fun game! I felt like a winning strategy was to stay at the bottom of the level and blast anything that came down there.

One thought: If there were enemy archers or crossbow men this kind of strategy could be prevented since it’s not possible to jump enemy arrows when you have a ceiling straight above you.
