This is a really interesting idea. I like the kind of quirky style of the art and gameplay.

Several times though there were no baskets on screen but balls were still being fired out of the tubes which lead to game over even though I had no chance to prevent that from happening.

The graphics are really good here, but I think it should really be a touchscreen only game, as with both mouse or touchpad I just couldn’t be quick enough

This game is as hard as nails - I didn’t get a single yarn ball in a basket

Having the cat trampolines disappear after just bouncing one ball was savage, especially since the balls often fell close to one another, the balls also didn’t bounce very high up, and certainly nowhere near the baskets :)

Cool idea for a game!

It was fun to mess around with the physics, and the main game mechanic is pretty interesting.

\n

I think it needs a little bit of tweaking, though, because I was just constantly dying… seems like there are too many yarn balls on screen at once to be able to survive more than a few seconds. (Or I just suck, haha)

I also found “juggling” the yarn balls to be impossible-ish, because it seems like you can’t draw a trampofeline within a certain distance from a yarn ball, maybe..? I kept drawing the path for a cat, but the cat didn’t appear (with no other cats on screen)

I really like the graphics and overall mechanics, though! Cool & interesting entry!

I limited the trampofeline’s length to a minimum of 100 pixels, otherwise the physics would get glitchy (the felines will literally explode) and the cat would look too squished, not leaving enough room for the body. I didn’t mention this rule in the description and it definitely makes the game trickier! So you don’t suck, your trampofelines were probably too short :)

I’ve also limited the spawning rate of the yarn balls so that the tubes would sleep when there are already three balls in the game, but like you say things get out of hand pretty fast anyway. Lots to improve!

😺 Very hard to get into at first. A level-based approach with 1 ball at the beginning, then 2, would make it easier to learn. Starting directly with 3 balls makes it tough to understand and manage the trampofeline.

It took me a couple of runs before I could understand how the collisions worked. But I think the problem is there feels like some kind of check for when a yarn goes off the screen that makes the other collisions into baskets be temporarily ignored for score.

Anyway, the sounds and the graphics are amazing! Thank you for making your game!

Really fun and exciting opening title. Would be nice to have the game in a window however, because with all the mouse drawing on screen (desktop version), I find I kept accidentally resizing the window (you can also fix this with making sure the pointer doesn’t go “offscreen”).

Interesting take on the game play. The cat trampolines were rather fun. The sound effects were really fun and interesting. I know you’re on the kB limit, but adding some music would make fore more immersion.

\n

Some level progression here would also be great to get the hang of the controls and physics before going further. Graphics are lovely though. It’s super easy on mobile however, due to the game using up all the mobile space and the yarn going in the basket regardless.

Overall, great game, nice work in with the theme.

It’s a unique concept but I do have some issue with it. First, i wish the cat could bounce as many yarn as it could in the set limited time instead of just disappear after got hit by 1 yarn. Second, after replaying the thing again and again, sometimes i found myself in a condition where there’s no basket to be filled at all until just the last second and then it just game over. It has a huge potential if you tweak a bit more with how to make it so that the gameplay more sustain!

It will be complicated for me to review this game because I played it with a trackpad and it was almost unplayable. I find the graphics to be quite good, there are sound effects and the gameplay is fairly unique. But the fact that the cat disappears after 1 hit, for example, makes it too hard to play with a trackpad, as it requires to be super fast. Overall, it is a good concept but I could not explore its full potential, sadly.

Fun game with very cool graphics!

It’s a bit of a pity that the difficulty depended on the screen width. I first tried on desktop and never got a single basket. Then saw some of the comments and tried mobile. I had the best result with 8 baskets when using the mobile emulator on desktop making the screen very narrow 😅 In general I think it’s a good idea that the game is optimized for mobile, though you could for example have mitigated the difficulty for the desktop version by keeping the actual playing field smaller and just have decoration in the rest of the screen.
