Welcome, dear minion!

\n

Here you are a new guardian of death, protecting gates access!\nYour objective is simple: if a profile is valid he can enter heaven, if he lies to you send him to roast in hell!

\n

Swipe with the mouse, the touch screen, or on the computer more simply with the left and right arrows.

\n

The more you succeed without errors, the more points and bonus time you will have! Be quick but vigilant: everyone wishes to enter paradise!

Really cool idea and I love the name of the game!

\n

I found it very tough though especially when it got into the unwritten rules

I liked a lot the game! The only downside is to add penalities, because swiping endlessly can get you a bunch of points anyway.

The animations are smooth, the graphic is really nice, and the game has a fitting atmosphere. At first I wasn’t sure if there’s was a way to actually know when to swipe left or right. I felt it was random, but according to the hints I get when I swiped the wrong way, I should have known apparently. And yes, I looked at the hints, and I got a combo of 13! However, I actually gained more points by randomly swiping left of right as fast as I could. Maybe a penalty would be good if I swiped the wrong way? Maybe giving extra points as well as more time when you guessed right would make it feel more satisfying.

\n

The controls were easy to use and the game was fun after I understood what to look for. The hints helped a lot once I paid more attention to them.

Fun game with very good gameplay. Fair rules with very clear feedback. Time limit forces me to think quick and accurate. Graphic style is on point.

fun game, easy to play, very well fitting in the theme. However it is faster to get points when you randomly swipe to one side. It got confusing with names of the profiles

Was good, but knowing what e.g. elfs should be named without knowing a lot about the fantacy realm is difficult.

Great graphics! I love the generated characters. Once I found the little book in the corner explaining the expected traits, the game really became fun. The music and sound effects were excellent, and the swiping mechanic is super intuitive.

\n

Stellar game, you did an excellent job.

Easy and fun game. But the guys could easily cheat me by name. Am I really supposed to know such things?

Themed on afterlife is a good concept.\nBut the game is really hard at first as the player needs to guess the rules in order to swipe. I ended up staying a lot of time on 1 single card.\nLiked the concept of Papers Please.

I enjoyed playing this game even though I really didn’t know how I was supposed to determine if they were lying.

\n

Graphics were good, worked well on mobile, music was good.

\n

It looked like there was something at the bottom of the screen which was cropped off, I’m hoping it was something useful like why my decision was wrong when it was, if so it’s a shame I couldn’t see it read it.

Love the idea! It reminds of Papers Please. The explanation of the players’ mistakes is a great addition to learn the mechanics of the game.

Technically it’s very well done, with HTML and CSS, it gets the animation, music on point. The dynamic characters are using SVG, very clever idea, and the result looks nice.\nThe idea is also nice, I think the names and death reasons must have a lot of references but I really don’t have time to read.

OMG, nice idea, but also soo hard. So many details to be aware of :). It was too hard for me.

\n

Absolutely hilarious. I like the fact that initially, you don’t know what to look for, but with every mistake, you “build” your knowledge base.

\n

For my taste of slow chess player, I’d prefer it to be not on time but on not making mistakes. So you would have as much time as you want, with possibly even more details. But that would be a completely different game, wouldn’t it? Still maybe some “Relax” mode :)

\n

I think it was quite great overall, finished project, and well thought out.

Lols on the Tinder reference!

\n

Loving the sound effects and the background music is a nice touch. Still trying to figure out if the music suits the theme and the game but I like it either way.

\n

Having a tutorial at the start of the game is super helpful. I played it on desktop but I can imagine this being really fun on mobile or tablet with the swipe.

\n

I clicked the little book in the corner and seeing all the facts pop up about humans, elves, and dwarves was very entertaining!

\n

Having the dynamic between choosing race, deception, facts, how they died etc. is very innovative and fun. Having the book as reference is great. I did like all of these and the methods of death was very funny. However, I would refrain from having names as a dividing factor as people can be called all different things these days and you wouldn’t want to discriminate based on name as it’s something you’ve chosen or that someone has chosen for you. Everything else you choose against for the game is a fact that is either right or wrong; skin colour, age, height, weight, method of death, ears. These are all facts that can’t be changed and helps figure out the type of creature that goes to heaven or hell (human, orc, elf, dwarf). But anyone could have an elven name, dwarven name, and humans can be named everything. So that’s definitely the one parameter I’d remove from the game. Definitely have names there, but don’t use that as a way to filter out the candidates.

\n

I needed to turn dark mode off for this one.
