Really clever design! It’s amazing how much control you can have over the dodo, using just one button.

Fun, nice graphics, music, controls and animation when the pixel-art dodo flies out of the level

I really enjoyed playing this game on my phone. It was a great intuitive platformer with nice graphics and audio. The controls were easy to grasp and I liked how the dodo would take off when you completed a level, fly through space/night to the next level.

I didn’t think I was gonna like this but was pleasantly surprised.

\n

Really nice polish and the gameplay is pretty cool. The jumping mechanics are especially nice and could be used in so many other games.

\n

Great entry!

Great entry!! in my top 10. Loved the fast paced action and the presentation. You pay attention to the details and that pays off.

No suggestions. Great work!

Absolutely amazing game, I like that you instantly know how to play. The concept of the Dodo bird is very well done. I like the feel of this game as well, the climbing of the walls was fantastic. Well done!

This is awesome! So fun to play. Some levels were pretty challenging, but eventually I could beat all 13 levels.

\n

Death animation is kind of hilariously brutal.

\n

Also enjoy the squawking sound effect. Curious to see how you did the music, as you mention that it’s procedurally generated.

I’ve had a lot of fun playing this game! It runs like a charm on mobile devices and offers an incredible little experience. The one-button controls for wall climbing and jumping are just amazing. Each level is challenging enough to keep you fully engaged and excited. Plus, the music and sound effects are fantastic. Kudos to the developer!

Lots of fun. Works well on mobile, and all levels were enjoyable.\nThe music, sounds and juice all help elevate the game experience. The transition from a level to another is really great, such a nice way of presenting the game.

\n

On my iPhone, the «share» context menu appears. I had the same issue in my game, and I think the following can fix it:

\n

On the body element, add oncontextmenu=“return false” ondragstart=“return false”

\n

Not a major issue, but thought I’d share just in case

Fun to play and challenging levels, flapping could be a little easier, was bashing my space bar.

This game is so fun to play! The “one button control” concept is very interesting , I found the game addictive and I loved when the dodo flies at the end of the level, very funny!

This is so well made, congrats! The controls feel amazingly tight, the wall jumps are satisfying, and the flapping feels overpowered. All this in a one-button game!

\n

I really like the transitions between levels, with the previous stage fading away in the distance. Very cool.

\n

My only complaint is that it’s too short. I had a lot of fun completing the 13 chambers and now I’m ready for more!

Great game, felt very fun and solid! I love the main character, great pixel art and sound effect to match. The single button gameplay feels really well done here with a lot of flexibility for player to control. I also love the procedural music and how it changes each room so never gets old. Cool level transitions were a nice touch. I would love to see this concept expanded on and it works great as a mobile game. Also, I love the retro arcade game joust and this reminds me of that too. Fantastic work!

Fun game! The visuals are cute and goofy, and the music is perfect. The sound effects are also very fitting. Everything is very polished and mostly cohesive. If I could improve anything, would be to give it a proper pixelated font.

\n

The gameplay is really simple, requiring barely any instructions. I love that the mini-level in the intro screen works as “start button” and tutorial. The levels were fairly simple, with a soft difficulty curve. Apart from one level, I left the allotted time was plenty enough to finish all levels, and the difficulty never increased much. If anything, I would love more and more challenging levels. I liked the not-so-subtle hint “FLAP”. I would probably have wasted a lot of time trying to figure that one out! :D

\n

I love the transitions between levels. Very creative.

\n

The theme fit is a stretch.

A game that becomes quickly addictive. I like that the controls are so simple and yet there is a surprising amount of differing control achieved through only a single key. I liked the graphics and the generated audio. Well polished!

Thanks for your submission! I really enjoyed the idea behind a single key platformer! And congratulations on having a complete game under 13kb!

\n

I really enjoyed the graphics and the level transitions were top-notch! I felt indeed like a free bird :)

\n

The jump/control was a bit finicky on the timing and I’m not sure I figured out exactly what was expected. In any case I managed to finish the game with 53083 points.

Also, great flex in packing multiple songs into it :)

The single key platformer is really fun and easy to control.\nIt took me not long to find out I can wall jump by just holding.\nI like how the DODO gets big and the level just shrink as if the DODO is flying a well.\nSimply loved how you can fit every content in 13kb. Good job,
