The idea is great! The level design is great. The canvas is too small, 512x512 pixels are definitely not enough. Restarting from the current level instead of restarting from beginning if you die would have been nicer. I am not sure if is supposed to blink but I have a blink every 3 seconds or so that reveals the whole level

It’s really hard, I couldn’t pass the third stage in several tries.

Sound and graphics are really good. But it would be much better if dying would not mean replaying the whole game. When I got to lvl 5 I first had to understand the maze – but moments later I was already dead.

Nice idea, stressful when the light closes in!

\n

Hitboxes made it a bit tricky to move about smoothly which wasted time and made it quite hard.

A delightful little game.

\n

I liked the speed maze navigating with the added risk of dwindling light and reconfiguring walls.

\n

The light casting worked well.

\n

Gamepad didn’t work for me, the only button which did anything on FF with a DS4 was pressing R3 made the character to upwards. On Chrome, it was detected and I could start the game with it, but none of the buttons did anything at all.

\n

Also once a gamepad was used, the keyboard got disabled.

\n

The music was good but a bit repetitive, the sound effects added to the feel of the game nicely.

It’s a nice intro, and the game looks cute. However, I’m not sure how I’m supposed to go beyond level 3 without the light disappearing.

I wish I could restart at the level where I failed instead of having to re-do the first levels :( but I enjoyed playing it! Well done.

After the intro I got an error: Uncaught TypeError: t.reset is not a function\nSo I could not play.

Oh, the story drew me into the game, I was completely invested into saving this poor soul. The plain graphics work well.

Loved it! I wonder if it would be possible to have the intro be skippable for those who have seen it before? I think that should be quite easy to implement without too much extra work. The story was well through out and i loved the retro pixel graphics - especially the title graphic. The game play was easy to pick up meaning users can get playing straight away.

Interesting concepts with the walls disappearing, and changing routes. Please let me restart from the same level I lost. I didn’t get longer than level 4.

\n

I thought I died when I reached the goal because of the explosion sound. Maybe a fanfare sound would be better.

Pretty stressful labyrinth escape game where the route through the labyrinth constantly changes. I didn’t like that I got stuck in walls instead of sliding along them. Also, I would have liked a Retry option. Nice that the game supports gamepad!
