The Raising Fighting Spirits is a simple strategy card game where you fight the Grim Reaper using a horde of spirits!\nTry to kill the Reaper faster to receive a better score BUT watch out for the Reaper next turn intended action!
\nAdictive game, took me a while to beat him. Lovely presentation.

I miss the spire itself, the map upgrades and artifacts, but hey, it’s my fav game in just 13kb :D. My top3 so far!

I think if you made more cards about…for example, sacrificing souls for having extra damage or other bonus you would have an expanded mechanic more coherent with the theme.

The game did get a little repetitive towards the end and maybe adding multiple enemies with less help would make it more engaging.

The reaper ended up with as much shield as HP!
\nOnce I was stable and started building up hit points was less worried about dying and slowly took him out!
\nGreat over all entry, played for quite a while.
\nAuto end of turn would have been nice.

Excellent music and sound effects, intuitive controls, beautiful stylized graphics and it was seriously fun to play. Top notch submission, easily a winner.

Gameplay is good but a little repetitve. Great graphics. Music is a bit repetitive. Controls are intuitives.

I love the UI and the art style. I love the controls (both mobile and desktop), and the smooth animations. Presentation is well done!
\nI wish there were a bit more to the gameplay. We can select individual souls now, but it only makes sense for shields. I\u0019d love to see some more cards that made sense to use for one soul. Maybe sacrifice it in some way. Either increasing HP of other souls, or deal extra dmg to the boss. Upgradable soul cards could be fun too, or evolving 3 souls to a mega soul.
\nMusic is a bit repetetive, and it would be cool with some original music (instead of ˄ovregubbens hall۩
\nI see a lot of potential in this game. Maybe you wanted to add more, but ran out of time/space. Either way, really good job!

I think for a card game there is low amount of available strategies, but the main concept is great and prettt well extendable. Looking forward!

\nThe graphics were good and the music was atmospheric.
\nHaving the monetization enabled helped with gameplay. Getting the extra card helped me defeat death.
\nI played on desktop and I could see how this turn-based clicky gameplay would also suit mobile.

(I love card games ^^)\nNice gameplay, idea to improve our cards is nice, random draw and powers up are fun, 1960 points when finished (I think the number of turns indicate when game is over is bugged). Nice sounds and music, really fit theme!

Make a starter level to let players feel some satisfication and then progress.\nBalance-wise, The deal-2 card is go at the beginning but feels trash pretty faster. There is a lot of design space in this game. Keep on to a post-compo release 😗😙😗

Starts slow, chipping death’s life away slowly, but exponentially picks up speed. I noticed that death always does sweeping attacks when i have too many souls, so that’s not a good strategy. About 4 souls seems like a sweet spot.\nLove the graphics. The music sounds familiar ;)\nWish there were different attacks other than tackling death.

This might have been due to the strength of the Web Monetization bonus, but the only issue I noticed was there wasn’t much strategy necessary.

Love the graphics, music, the idea, the way it’s interactive and the player can easily learn how to play during the gameplay. The Web Monetisation bonus is well-visible, especially while the Subscription is active (it’s yellow and you just can’t miss it), but I would work on how you communicate the bonus to a non-Subscriber. It’s a well-known pattern to use gray as a disable state but it’s working better when you can easily compare the enable and disable state. In this case it’s not so obvious - if you’re not a Subscriber you can see a gray label (it’s not a button) with the word “Enable” - you can confuse it with the action and start to click on it - but it’s not a button… What do you think about it? I was confused and I’ve started to click on it ;)
