If you feel it’s too easy, try the Coil levels from the level select screen. They are cursedly hard. (If you don’t have Coil, append #coil to the URL.)

\n

For best experience on Android, use the ‘Add to Home screen’ feature. Seriously, it’s amazing how much better the game runs if started from that shortcut.

\n

Thank you for playing!

\n
\n

Web Monetization features: there are three bonus levels accessible to Coil subscribers. Extra hard!

\n
\n

Decentralized features and which Challenge you’ve taken: the OP Games Challenge.

\n

As explained by Paul Gadi on Slack, The Neatness should qualify because (1) it’s open source / free software (released under GPLv3), (2) it’s built on open source libraries and web standards / protocols.

I liked that it the puzzles involved mirroring, but they got too hard.

I really liked the game. I completed all the levels. The music is really nice. Mirroring and the fungus like thing really added depth to the game. I haven’t played the coil levels, but I’m considering it :D

Such a simple idea which is obviously difficult to implement!

\n

Really great/ challenging and often mind bending movements needed!

\n

Loved everthing about this! <3

One of my favorite games so far. The music is great, the mirror theme is a fun mechanic I’ve never seen before, and it gets quite challenging. The subtle skull animation is also a nice touch.

\n

It took a while before I understood that I didn’t have to connect the skull and grave in just one single line stroke, making level 9 really confusing. Having an easier level to introduce that concept early on could be a good idea.

Tried the game! Honestly, I preferred the first levels and not the reflection mechanic. Without that, I think the game will be much better because I liked how simple it was as a concept and you made some really good puzzles and I think with less you can do more.

I really really enjoyed the puzzles. The idea of using a very simple mechanic to make puzzles is seriously great. Loved the mold too, probably more than the mirror.

Wow! Awesome! The gameplay was unexpectedly very fun! The only thing I felt that the reflection levels seemed to come too soon and take a bigger chunk of the rest of the levels. But that’s just a detail. The game was super fun. Good job!

At the start I thought it would be a simple connect-the-dots game with great music, but what a pleasant surprise! The mirroring, growth, and realising I can freely draw the lines made it really fun. A well-polished game.

When have heard it I was jealous of your sound quality! Really beautiful audio!\nThe gameplay is really original, it reminds me “Four sided fantasy”. Fun and challenging, with new mechanisms as level goes by! I’ll try coil levels if possible to get more content :)

How awesome was that?! Great soundtrack and I really liked the graphics. Also I really enjoyed the added difficulty of the mirror mechanic. I got hooked and had to complete all the levels, even the coil ones (using #coil, thank you for that).

It took me a few play-throughs before I was able to effectively review this game. It’s got beautiful music and a really simplistic graphics style. I got so upset at drawing lines. But then I realized I was following the “rules” and suddenly the game became much better. The puzzles are absolutely top notch, gradually introducing harder concepts or new mechanics. I could see myself playing the full game for hours.

\n

Really amazing entry.

I love the music and how polished the game is, definitely a favorite of mine from this year! I also like that you included harder levels for Coil players (I could not beat the last one, though). Also, handling failures (and restarts) seamlessly is a great idea, helps a lot to not lose momentum.

\n

Only one idea for improvement: a “mirror cursor” would be very helpful.

\n

Oh, and of course: more levels - I could have played for a while… :)

Very cute and clever adventure. I remember the red mushroom from early tweets and love how it’s been worked into the game. I don’t know how you come up with these puzzles!

\n

Precise controls are a bit difficult on mobile given the touch finger blocks the tip of the line and the obstacles it’s trying to go around.

Extramely fun puzzle game and good aha moment, once occurred in a mirror level and once in a fungus level. This is the kind of puzzle that does it.

\n

Graphics, Audio, UI/UX are all top notch.

\n

the underlying algorithm is pixel floodfill? very fun to play with.

\n

nitpicking (why am i doing this?): the pixel line is too thin, and my finger is to fat. but then no part of this game demands precise control, so i am not even complaining.

\n

adherence to theme isn’t the best, but still makes sense

Loved the game, you certainly need a steady hand for some of the levels as the spaces get quite tight to fit extra lines between the gaps.

\n

The mirror image did add another level of skill to the game.

\n

A really nice music track, befitting of a puzzle game such as this.

\n

What was that red stuff which grew as you moved? I found it quite difficult to get passed until I started drawing next to it and blocked it off.

\n

I played with coil membership enabled and found the Coil-2 level pretty tricky.

Nice puzzle game. At the beginning I was confused about where the Coil bonus is. After First levels I gained access to a menu button and there they were - 3 extra levels. When you get to the main menu it’s well-visible what’s the Coil bonus and how to get it. It would be nice to give the non-Subscriber some kind of a link to Coil, so he/she could get the membership. I like the way the player chooses the level to play, although it’s not so simple to get the idea.
