Nice pixel art. The intro sequence felt pretty polished. After the first level, the game crashes for me with the error message:

\nThe music sounded very familiar an I think it’s from a JS13k game from a previous year?
\nThe controls worked well, I used WASD and mouse to shoot. Though the height of the jumps wasn’t quite as high as the platforms, it was good that touching the edges gave you a boost up onto them.

It’s definitely tricky to resist firing the satisfying weapon into thin air, and the feeling you get when counting down from 13 bullets is a great use of the theme. I did try to get to level 2, but even with optimal bullet usage I wasn’t able to, so I’m wondering what I’m missing. Congrats on submitting!

\nHowever, I kept getting tossed into the air by something invisible and then died.
\nI think given the issues I, as well as other reviewers, have experienced, it does not seem like a finished game. I hope you can address that in a director’s cut version.

\nI would start by improving the level design, to make it more articulated with more difficult to reach areas, then I would make it so that the player could not jump so high, and then one thing will lead to another.

\nYou can indeed feel that it isn’t complete, which is a shame, because it would have been a fun game :)
\nI jumped in the void on the first screen and the game got stuck haha.
\nI’m impressed by the pixel art, it’s simple yet very well mastered. It did felt like an old mario game or a “I wanna be the guy” type of game.
