\nLike I mentioned in one of the other comments, it is not supposed to be trial-and-error, but you definitely need to figure out the trick to finding the right crowns. I was a bit afraid people would miss the significance of the day/night switching. I hope you did figure it out in the end, otherwise you have experienced hell quite literally :-P
\nGetting teleport to working was just to much work in the time and space available. I’ve done that before so it would definitely be something to put in. I don’t get nauseated myself in VR otherwise I would probably have started with teleportation :-)

\nIf you walk around the ‘good’ crowns are very obviously different (unless you are color blind, but even then there is a clear difference). So just walk around until you spot a different crown.
\nBut even then, you can only safely get the crowns at the right time of day. Go to the sky beam to change the time of day.

\nI love your remark about swinging your arms. A while back I played Happy Run VR, which was definitely on my mind when creating The King’s Crowns!
\nAs I gather from the other comments, you are not alone in not figuring out the puzzle.
\nThe tricky thing is there a 26 crowns, of which only 6 or 7 (later fewer) are highlighted at any time so you already have to really search for them. But the ones that you do find you can’t grab because it is the wrong time of day, so you have to remember where they are for after the day/night switch.
\nEven when you do everything right, finding those last one or two crowns usually takes me a while too :-)
\nI hope you’ll give it another try!

\nAlthough I was actually a bit confused until I read your color tip and that’s when it started.
\nI played on Desktop, not through WebXR, but the world was great anyway! Share a few words about how you did it :).
\nThe noise was also nice, more like the sound of water than wind, but it was like there was no water :) but after a while I wanted to turn it off, so it would be nice to have that option.
\nAlso, I would like to have more matching of the theme, since the theme is the fear of the number 13, and here you have to collect 13 crowns and then you win, so it is the exact opposite.
\nI think it would be even more interesting if there were traps throughout the quest to maintain interest, but I understand that there is so much! It’s really impressive to fit the whole world into such a small size.
\nBy the way, when I was looking for crowns, I had to remember the path to them, that is, orient myself in the world :), and also when there were several crowns close to each other, I tried to remember the approximate path to them, and then I oriented myself to flowers, trees, mountains , it was really interesting!
\nVery cool! It was fun and interesting for me! Congratulations!

\nI’m glad you figured out the ‘puzzle’. From the other comments, not getting the trick seems to have been a common problem among the players. The way you describe it is exactly how I wanted it to work, including having to retrace your steps since things look different at day or night, and a bit of risk once you have only two or one crowns to go!
\nGood catch on the wind/water sound. I recycled that from my entry from last year, where it was water, now with some extra filtering to get it ‘windy’.
\nYou’re not the first to ask about a write-up, so I’m currently working on one. But that will take some time, there is baked shadows and lighting, generated meshes and textures, shaders, controllers, etc.
\nThanks for playing the game to the end! (I played yours to the end as well, but I’m sure that took me less time :-) )

\nYou’re definitely not the only one. I had hoped the sky beam to find the gate and the different colored crowns were enough, but on the other hand I also wanted to see how big I could make the level, so some players just missed the differently colored crowns and / or the time gate, and without both you have no way of finishing the game.
