\nRegarding the movement, I think it would be much more immersive to control the cat using arrow-keys, and make it run around freely instead only going from gridcell to gridcell? (In case that that matches your intended game…)

The overworld is well thought out and I liked how using emojis in different sizes made them look more like regular sprites. It took me a while to figure out the combat system, and I think it could be really fun if it was a little bit more accessible and integrated into the game. I totally see myself casting magical sigils by connecting elements and ingredients to defeat the opponent.

I played through the practice battle mode and found the merging controls to be very intuitive. Very unintuitive I will deal the damage or not (seems like random chance). Funny cute dancing black cat!
\nA few suggestions that could enhance the experience:
\nAdmittedly, I felt a bit limited by not being able to engage in combat with anyone in the world map. I truly hope to see a more polished version in the future - I’m very curious about the story you have prepared for us!

\nSuggestions: I won’t give a ton since the game is incomplete, you might have many ideas already for future. I did notice my own health going down during the Combat Practice, but it was not clear why, so I’d make sure to incorporate some indication of how your spells hurt the enemy and how the enemy hurts you (or how to avoid it).
