This is the city without THAT NUMBER. Breaking the city into tiles, you may never have THAT NUMBER of anything (or any multiple of THAT NUMBER.) 12 buildings built? You may only place a new double or quad. 11 stories across three towers? Sorry, that new double tower will have to wait until you place one more single or a quad. Also counts these statistics separately between the two kinds of buildings – residential versus commercial.

\nI’m sorry, but I have no idea how to play this game.
\nThere weren’t even words that displayed when I moused over the buttons. Is tut a tutorial for those shortened words?
What exactly do the green check and “no” symbols do?
\nThe graphics are cool though. I do like 3D cities and grass textures. I just wish I could understand what I was doing.

\nYep! The “tut” levels are supposed to be simplified examples of the context. Seems I didn’t do the greatest at explaining that, likely because a lot of the UI implementation was finished in my mad rush to make it by 2:00 a.m. the night before the deadline (6am in my timezone – and I had work in the morning.)
\nThe flow for placement of buildings is two-step so that it is compatible with mobile platforms. You select the tool that you would like to use, a tile on the game grid, then the “check” confirms your action. (For desktop confirm is the “E” key as well – realizing now I should have included “Enter” and some others.) The “no” symbol is for canceling your selection.
\nUnfortunately I also didn’t get to the point of implementing any “level goals.” I felt there was still enough there in terms of personal exploration, kind of like Sim City 4, that people would be interested in playing nonetheless.
\nHope you get another chance to take a look with this added context! (A bit of is in the desc.)

However it was satisfying to put these stores and buildings around in the area. It’s quite impressive on the technical aspect - viewing the 3d plane, placing buildings and raising them with a cool animation.

\nThere’s a lot of different controls to remember.
\nThe graphics were good, I liked looking around the town.
\nI built something and it started to grow, but then stopped and made it self smaller again until it disappeared - not sure what I did wrong.
\nI didn’t understand the point of the tick and cross symbols, as no matter which I clicked nothing seemed to happen.
\nStill all-in-all a fun little game to watch or explore.

Loved the prespective but hated the UI its not too friendly. I had no idea how to play but seeing the houses build is a cool sight, reminded me a bit of cities skyline it have something in it to make it go next. hope you get something of it

The goal is to maximize the available space, while not stepping on the level 13 or multiples of 13. Like a bin packing problem but for buildings. It’s really hard to understand what’s going on and the intro screen is reaaaaly confusing and it looks like the game already started and all the buttons with shortened words make absolutely no sense to the player.
\nWhat is the point of there being different types of buildings? I think the game would be simpler without just one type. Also without labels on the buttons, it’s very confusing. And what comes after I packed the city with buildings? There doesn’t seem to be a game end.
\nIt was very frustrating that I couldn’t rotate the camera or zoom in and out.
\nI want to love your game, because I think it’s a fun idea. You could make it a daily game sort of thing. But the gameplay and UI needs some work. I think you already achieved a lot with 3D graphics in under 10KB.

Intro screen with animations is pretty cool too, but the “level” selection menu should have been centered and clearer, I was confused by this at the beginning.\nMultiple maps to select, a tutorial a bit confusing too, and I think no real objectif on each map?\nThe game as a potential but seems a bit unfinished

The initial screen lacks clear instructions, the abbreviated options on the menu are not explicit (how about using a smaller font and uncut text?) until you figure out that they stand for tutorial and puzzle.
\nThere is not much challenge though, a scoring system and goals would be welcome. A a few bugs remain, such as the texture on selected multi-stories building, or buildings vanishing once you attempt to build on their square. Oh, and the controls are missing a rotate (orbit) option, it should actually be the first choice before pan.

The menus are quite confusing. Is that a sandbox game?\nI managed to build a bunch of things, but I don’t know what I am actually supposed to do.\nIt looks good though, and I appreciate it has sounds. But without any guidance, I can’t really tell if it is a fun one or not.\nGood job making it under 13kb!
