For the control, i think it is kinda weird how i canāt jump while moving left to right at the same time

The swing mechanic was nice but implemented in a way that removed all the fun. The rest was nice.

To me the controls were very difficult to master. Personnaly I would have loved having a first level very simple with āsafeā areas so that I can learn the controls without the frustration of falling in the water. Graphics are cute, good job!

\nāYou sure swung that catā
\nI loved the tail swing feature, I wanted to have that in my game aswell but ,went with the tail grab-to-torch jump.
\nGuys, the key to winning the game is- you can actually go down or up while swinging.
\nBy the way, the cat always faces right side, is that by design ? also, love to have water hitArea little bit small height-wise.
\nLoved the gameplay and nice music!
I had a lot of trouble with the inputs, and gave up pretty fast. Itās not just the grapple, I had trouble predicting his horizontal movement too. And the camera lags behind the hero, itās kind of dizzying. (none of these are like fatal flaws or anything, I just happen to be sensitive to them).
\nThat music, though! So good. :)

\nThe controls felt a bit tricky at first because my instinct was to click and hold the rope, but thatās not how it works - so I kept falling into the water right away. š \nIt might help to make the beginning a little easier: maybe a longer rope, a short delay between releasing shots instead of needing a full release, or adding some swing physics like in coyote jumping. Iād love to spend more time flying around in this game!
\nThe music is great, and the rope-launch sound effect with that detune is really satisfying.
\nExcellent work!

\nItās easy enough to understand how to play, but the controls are hard to master, perhaps some easier tutorial levels with swinging but no water would help get the hang of the controls
\nFun soundtrack, and interesting sound effects
\nGood job on the entry, Iām going to come back to this one to play more as I wasnāt able to get very far during voting
\nIt was slightly odd that it was see-through, but that didnāt detract from the gameplay

Strange background inversion relic on the cat graphic at times.

\nThe controls are either rather hard (completely unforgiving) or there are some troubles with it.
\nA little bit of air-control would be nice. I often stand just before a step and cant reach the top. With jumping and [A]/[D].
\nAnd i would prefer to jump only when i press teh spacebar (not jump again as soon as the cat hits a surface and i am still holding the spacebar). On the other hand, there is no difference in jump-height when i just tap and release the spacebar adn when i hold it. Hm. Maybe thats intended.
\nAnyways, i had fun playing it, and i will return for more cat tail swinging. I will master this! Good game!

\nI found the controls pretty hard though, the jumps are very unforgiving straight from the beginning and I think I wouldāve preferred the swinging controls as press button to attach and release to let go, rather than having to click twice. Also, seems like I canāt really jump and move horizontally which made getting on platforms with a small height difference harder than expected. There were also some glitches with the collision detection and sometimes the tail would launch through the terrain.
\nThe cat sprite also had a yellow line appearing on top in some frames, I suppose the previous frame is bleeding through from the texture atlas. Itās an issue I encountered as well many times, I think the easiest way to solve this is just to make sure there is always an empty line of pixels between the sprites.
\nNice audio as well, great soundtrack and effects matching the vibes! Well done!

\nBut I think an alternative control scheme can be interesting to explore, hereās what I have in mind:
\nW to jump
\nspace to do that thang
\nleft click & right click to make it small or long
\nspace also to release
\nI also found out that if I time the jumps and flings right, I can clip through platforms in all sorts of wacky ways haha.
