A short murder mystery adventure on a boat.

\n

It should have been a fun boat trip. But even death likes to go swimming…

Simple, but fun. The difficulty is just right for me, not too hard to let me abort frustrated, but not too easy either to keep me busy some time. Well done!

The game is funny and nice but I had one huge problem with it. The arrows are so faint as to be almost invisible, so when I went into the cabin, I didn’t even notice the arrow up and to the right of the cabin. This caused me to get stuck, look at the source code, put in a breakpoint and do:

\n

Sheryl.style.visibility = “hidden”,\nWatch.style.visibility = “hidden”,\nstate.leftGoggle = 1,\nsetLeftGoggles()

\n

In order to progress and finish the game. Only after I got farther did I notice this faint arrow up away from all the other action. And I’m not even color blind or have any serious vision issues. The arrows are the primary UI for navigating your game and they are almost invisible. You need to at least put a solid border around them or something.

\n

Do that and it’s a great game though, I laughed and enjoyed it, it’s just unfortunate I had to cheat it due to something as simple as an almost invisible UI.

One of my favourite games for this year. This is obviously up my alley, as I also often submit small adventure games to js13k. I loved the graphics and the simple interface.

This was a fun game, I’m looking forward to seeing another chapter. I completed it quite quickly. The game worked well.

\n

The graphics were good and there was plenty of puzzle elements to keep you wanting to continue.

\n

A well put together murder mystery.

Awesome murder mystery. Got stuck in a few places because I didn’t realize some things were clickable.

\n

I had a great time figuring out the puzzles, this is my kind of game.

\n

Excellent work

I was too dumb to solve the mystery but this is a pretty neat game for 13k!

Really great little murder mystery adventure game! The visuals are great and the controls are easy and intuitive enough.

\n

I liked the humour, when the knife fell down - “apart from the knife in his head, he looks unharmed”. Also the ending is funny and the overall experience is really enjoyable.

\n

I actually have nothing bad to say, great great job!

Nice point and click game!\nGraphics are cool, story too, and not that difficult :)\na bit more interactivity (change cursor on interactive objects, new options to know when wa have no more new interaction with someone should be a perfect ajustement, but already a great job!

Adventure games are a challenging one for a game jam since they’re so content heavy, but this does feel a bit like a demo for one of the classic point-and-click games. I like the minimalist art style and thought it fit the tone of the story well. The puzzles were little simple but had a few nice moments, and I could see the overall style extending well to a longer game.

Fun dialogs and story. Feedback was good depending on if the item was useful or not. Some sounds would help make it even more clear. Maybe the use of the Audio Speech API could make the story more interesting without having to sacrifice space.

\n

I like the characters and the style of the game. Short, but fun.
