Drag finger (or mouse) across the screen and slice objects in the same color as indicated in the top of the screen. The game is over if you cut the wrong color, or don’t cut the blazing arrows. Remember to slice all arrows.
\nI added a Web 3 menu where the player can opt-in for the decentralized challenge. When a player selects this option, the game will download the NEAR SDK and fetch metadata for 2 different swords, which are actual NFTs on the NEAR blockchain. The swords can be purchased and used in the game itself. The NFTs are part of a Paras.id collection. If you buy one, you own one and will see it in your NEAR wallet and on Paras.id. You can resell them or transfer them if you wish.
\nI always love a fruit-ninja style game.
\nI feel like the items should pop in bit more more frequently in the beginning but plays pretty well!

It looked ok, and the audio matched nicely. It probably needed a little more of a speed/pattern ramp though: I played until ~2000 in score, but it didn’t seem to be changing much anymore so I called it a day.

I had some trouble balancing the game properly. The color switching speed and the number of items being spawned will increase over time, but that’s about all I was able to do to increase difficulty.
\nAdding some more elements or add an extra color to the mix could help with making the game more interesting after 2000 points.

I bought one of the swords on NEAR and it made a cool light saber sound effect, and it appeared when I was slicing something, but I didn’t notice any other difference.
\nI think the start of the game could have been made as a tutorial that only shows for the first time, and that can be played again from the menu, because for the next attempts you want to get direct to the action, but you have to play the tutorial all over again.
\nAlso, I thought it would be cool to be able to slice the long objects two times. I noticed that you can slice the arrowheads too, but I thought about slicing the same object in two movements would feel very samurai-ish.
\nOne small thing I noticed with the sword I bought, not sure if it was intentional. When I started slicing, the sword blinked in the position I ended the previous movement before jumping to the place I started the new movement.

I wasn’t sure if anyone would try it or not. I wanted to leave some burn marks or scratch marks on the surface after slicing with the NFT swords. And I also wanted to add some extra particle effects, like smoke, or sparks of fire.
\nThe thing you noticed with the sword is a bug I wasn’t able to fix in time. It’s definitely not intentional.
\nThanks for the comment about slicing the same objects several times. I was thinking about it at one point, but decided to leave it out of the implementation. I think it could be a cool feature to add, and now I wish I added it.
\nThe idea to only show the tutorial once is also a good suggestion. It can get boring fast when the player has to start over with almost zero slice and dice action.
\nThanks for the valuable feedback.

\nNice background music and the arrows add some extra skill requirement to what is quite a chilled (satisfying) game.
\nWorks well on PC and mobile!

\nThanks for the feedback. I’m glad you mention some improvements I could have made on the color switching. I tried changing the background as well as the indicator on the top, but I see that it’s still not sufficient enough to let the player know the color is about to switch.

In the same time you can’t hit them earlier - it’s still not their color.\nGood Job!
