\nOne thing I noticed is when you get hurt, the blinking is slow and he’s transparent as often as opaque. It would read better if you up the frequency a bit, and make the opaque half of the cycle longer than the transparent half. I kind of lose the sprite visually, as is.

\nBesides that, I found the super basic shooting action okay. I had no idea how to use the cloak so the main ability of the cat was never used sadly.

I had no idea that was a shop coming at me the first time so I just started blasting away, LOL. I loved the yellow laser beam glow off whatever those enemies are later on. The asteroid belt visual in the middle look great too.
\nI did have to guess what the controls were (although I still don’t know how to use the cloak or how it powers up). Once I figured the controls out it was fun to play. The player death animation feels a little “double punishment” in that I’ve lost a life and I also can’t really see where I am when my ship disappears like that constantly for a few seconds. Instead of going totally invisible, possibly just go transparent instead?

The sound effects were old-school but sounded OK, controls are responsive, and on theme.
\nSuggested improvements: the game is a bit too easy, especially once you have a few upgrades - around level 7 I could just hold down spacebar and down-arrow without moving, kill everything and collect all the metal. (One solution here would be to remove the vertical wrap-around feature.) Also, I never did figure out how to fire my rocket launcher, perhaps there’s a button I missed.
\nGraphics-wise, the blink after your ship gets hit makes it quite hard to see – consider speeding up the blink speed, or, instead of blinking “on/off”, toggle between regular sprite and a “lightened” version of the sprite (this is a classic visual indicator of temporary invulnerability).
\nFine-tuning aside, I enjoyed it!

I liked the graphics and the sound effects and the little details, like the explosions or the way you can wrap around the edges of the screen and the variety of enemies and weapons.
\nThe game felt a bit too easy though, I was never in real danger, especially after a few upgrades so it didn’t feel challenging enough. It also felt a bit slow, I think it would be more fun if everything moved quicker and more chaotically.
\nWell done on the game overall!

I liked the sound effects. You could definitely do with some music too (you definitely have some kBs for it). The swishing sound effect for the metal was a little confusing; I thought it was birds outside my room :P so I was wondering how to collect the metal.
\nI like that you included different enemies; like mouse, worm, etc. The shop is a nice touch, and the controls are nice and smooth. The level progression is good. Great execution, and fairly addictive game.
\nWould have been nice to see some more “dog themed” things if the enemy is a dog; ie. throwing bones, balls, dog bowls etc.
\nThe shop could have been a cat themed shop too; just some ideas for that little extra mile.
