I am not sure if blocking diagonal movement was done to increase the feeling of dread, but worked towards the atmosphere. I found it too easy though, without any incentives to keep escaping the same map layout - a randomized room might be better.

Really cool and unsettling background music that matches the game imo. The idea is a cool take on the theme.

However, it felt a bit short. More levels would have been nice. I think diagonal movement could also improve the gameplay.

Was afraid of jumpscare. But the music is great. The issue is the number of levels is very low…. just 1. So I’d like to see you move forward in the next game with more variety.

Nice little game. I really liked the music. I think the floor should have some more texture or more objects should be placed in the room, because sometimes it looked like I was not moving, e.g. when moving along a long wall. I also had sometimes some stutters, not sure if it is my PC.

The aim is simply to get through the maze, avoiding the ghost-like ‘predecessors’, and find the exit. On the way, you sometimes find crosses, which give you a wider range of light and slow down the ghosts. You could argue this isn’t really on-theme, although it is fun for a few rounds.

It’s graphically quite cute, and I really liked the slightly spooky music. The only downside is that the level didn’t seem to change, so once you know where the exit is, you just keep going there level after level. The quantity of ghosts does increase each time, however, so it becomes more challenging in that respect (as one touch and it’s game over) but a variety in levels would have been great.

It seems to me that somewhere from level 5+, when there are more ghosts, the game starts to slow down.

I think the random location of the doors will add interest to the game.

That was spooky! A slightly odd choice on the lead melody, but the vibe in the audio was really effective. The actual game of tag was also very playable and intuitive, nicely done packing all of that and nice visuals into 13k!

I love the graphics! And the music is also well done, I like how the volume decreases between games.

For quite some time, I didn’t understand that I could walk on the grass, but I guess that’s on purpose to make it more interesting?

This was an enjoyable survival game that managed to create the tension and mood you would expect through the effective use of sounds and visuals. It’s good that the difficulty increases as you progress, but would be nice to see some level variety too.
