The 13th-century was a time of nautical innovation. The caravel was in development and early charts were being made. It’s your turn to captain an expedition to map uncharted waters and become a legendary explorer!

\n

Portolani is a turn-based puzzle game. Your goal is to visit all of the ports, exploring as much of the map as possible. A new map is released every day at 00:00 UTC.

\n

An optional leaderboard for the daily challenge is available via the NEAR testnet. If you would like to save your high score, please sign in to your testnet MyNearWallet (https://testnet.mynearwallet.com)!

A delightful game I have enjoyed playing each day. Surprisingly complex mechanics encourage exploration and resource management. The audio is on theme and pleasant without being distracting during longer play sessions.

Beautiful puzzle game execution. I love how effort was put to make it a full game and that I found my self wanting to play a few rounds. Didn’t always get exactly what I am doing but the casual feel of it was refreshing - even when I didn’t finish a level.

I wish I had reached thie game earlier.

The theme plays so well into the puzzle mechanic of this game.\nThe art style is very simple (like flavourful info) and it works so well.

\n

The puzzles look super fun. I’ve bookmarked this so I can do it every day :D

Great entry, nice graphics and music, simple but challenging game play.

\n

Really nice that you show the map after each game is over and show how far has been travelled and how much of the map was revealed. The Rivers and Streams were stressful, knowing its a long way back along some of them with little fish left.

\n

Good job.

This reminded me of Ultima IV. Liked the puzzle element - it works really well. Also the way shores can be seen from afar is cool. Would love scrolling animation when sailing and some feedback when approaching fish or battle - at first I thought they just disappear. Nice chill music. Really good job on the decentralized part!

Really cool concept! I couldn’t exactly figure out the most efficient way to sail, but it was still fun making my way around and exploring the map. Really liked the music and graphics as well. Greay job!

The near integration is well done, i really enjoyed the map downloads of voyages made, also good use of IPFS and the daily generated voyages is a neat feature.
