Welcome to “Overforged” where you step into the shoes of a skilled XIII century village blacksmith. Your mission is to keep the villagers and the Lord well-pleased with your craftsmanship. You’ll manage your forge, craft weapons and tools, and make crucial decisions to keep your forge running and the people happy. But beware, a displeased Lord can bring an end to your time at the forge. So, craft wisely and manage your resources!
\nUse the arrow keys or A and D to move your character around the forge.\nInteract with forge tools by pressing the Spacebar.
\nThe furnace is the heart of your forge. It heats the steel for crafting.\nPay attention to the tooltip above the furnace; it turns green when the item is heated.
\nA box that provides you with an endless supply of steel.
\nYour source of fuel for the furnace.
\nThis is where the magic happens! Use hot steel to forge it into weapons or tools.\nUse 1, 2, 3 keys to select what you want to craft.
\nSome crafted weapons will need to be sharpened here before selling.
\nPlace ready items here so your customers can purchase them.
\nPro-tip: It’s better to switch a heated item in the furnace with a non-heated one to save time.

\nI am not sure if it’s a bug or I don’t know how to do something, but I would like to be asked every time I pick a metal rod what I want to do with it - the idea of being stuck making swords and more swords was frustrating. I also felt swords were much more difficult to make than everything else - would love to get more variety of things to do but with less steps.

\nGood game, I liked it! I played a little! I liked the study mode. Regarding the pro-tip with installing the next object in the furnace when taking the finished one - it only confused me, so I played one iron at a time :).
\nI would like to get an assistant for so many days of service who would at least work at some point :D.
\nAlthough I didn’t find enough resonance between the game and the theme of the contest, quite innovative though! I had fun playing!

It felt like I was constantly behind on orders and the customers were getting unhappy. I do not think the pace of the game should be reduced though.
