Hey, nice job! This was fun! You created a compelling experience, it almost reminded me of Geometry Wars. The green guys are tough. The “release while moving to shoot” seems really powerful, but I found it difficult to use - about 80% of the time I wanted to shoot, but it would burst instead. Overall, this was very nicely done. Good job!

I am not quite sure how this game matches the theme of “death”. Nevertheless, it was quite fun to play! Loved the music and the simplicity of the graphics.

Wow, love it!

\n

First great things: easy to get into, the music is super cool, you want to try again directly.

\n

I’ve gotta admit, I didn’t read the description and I thought at first that the goal was just to avoid the enemies, so I stayed for a few minutes just wandering in circles :)\nMaybe the help section should be shown in a really simple way when the user clicks on “start”. Something like:

\n\n

The sprites are really simple, but I think it makes a great atmosphere to the game.

\n

Overall, great job!

I think there’s something wrong in the 3rd level. I can’t kill the green donuts no matter how much i hit them with mines, so I can’t finish the level. Which is a pitty, as this game is really fun. I like the shop and power ups, but can’t use them because of that bug in the game. The graphics are quite nice despite being very miminal, and the music is cool as well.\nDoesn’t really fit the theme death besides me killing and dying.

\n

edit: OHHH, now i understand how to use the energy blasts. That was not really so obvious. But at least now i can play more! Fun game.

A fast paced defence game.

\n

This has a lot going for it and has lots of depth, I liked the weapon charging and the way the enemies swarmed and moved towards you.

\n

It was good to have several different types of enemy.

\n

Having a shop in the game was good for upgrades, but I wasn’t able to use it. Plus it’s slower than them just appearing for collection during gameplay.

\n

The music was really good, but the mute/unmute button doesn’t work.

Loved the graphics and sound of that!\nThe controls were a little bit tricky to get!\nAfter a while i had to return to this page and read what’s happening!

This game was fun to play, but I struggled a lot with the mouse controls. The sensitivity is making it difficult for me to play. I wish the sensitivity was the same as my existing mouse cursor. I guess less sensitivity was added to make the game more difficult, but I’d try to use something else if that was the case. Maybe faster or larger enemies.

\n

The music and sound effects are great.

\n

EDIT: I saw from other comments that we had different types of attack depending on how long we pressed the mouse button. It made the game more fun.

I like the minimalist aspect of the game, loved the music!\nI didn’t get how to kill the 4 green guys that appear, I spent at least 5m putting booms but could not damage them or at least I could not see feedback, I think like the player we should be able to see the life of each enemy and also the shield energy, so the player can understand what’s happening.

It took me some time to really understand the manual, actually it might be the only problem of the game, the system is complex and not so intuitive.\nBut after that I do really enjoyed playing it, it has very good potential with the three types of enemy design. The graphics is simple but expressive, the music and sound plays the most important role for creating atmosphere in this game.\nBesides, I like the name a lot.

The retro music is rad, and takes me back to the 90s chiptunes!

Cool music, easy to move. Game is cool (even if not really fitting theme).\nIt was just hard to manage fire instead of explosion sometimes, controls should be better explained or easier to use

What a neat game! I really like the sounds and upgrade system - you really got a lot done in a small amount of time. I think this game is really challenging at first, especially with timing, it has a great learning curve that really pays off.
