Died to the grim reaper :(\nI really liked the cute graphics as well as the different soundtracks, but the gameplay became very repetitive after a while.

I like the look of the game, and it played well.

\n

I ran out of sword swipes pretty quickly and just using the claw felt a bit slow to progress (plus put my own health at risk).

\n

It would be good to have some way to get powerups or more weapons as you progress.

\n

The music was good and added to the battling gameplay.

graphics are super cute. Also loved the revive system where you could go back and play other levels. Speeding up the combat system might improve the game because it is a bit repetitive.

Graphics are really nice. I would maybe add more particles, effects, a bit more punch, but overall looks really nice.\nI was also unsure how to strategize. What happens when I run out of swords, do I just use my claws until I die?

Cute graphics

\n

Didn’t really understand at first but it got more fun once I died and upgraded my claws

\n

the drag to scroll along the rooms didn’t work for me so I couldn’t carry on playing once I got past what fit on the screen

After playing for some time and understanding idea behind dying and improving the character, I think this is a really good little game.

\n

Replayed several times, tried different strategies when it comes to building main cat character and it was pretty fun.

\n

I like the graphics and overall simplicity of the game.

\n

It would be nice if there were some more types of attacking your enemies i.e. attacking multiple enemies with one strike, maybe it will be expanded one day :D

Nicely done. Most people would get to the final boss and die there.\nI was close but didn’t manage to kill the boss.

\n

Game flow was disrupted by small things, like damage animations (i.e. I would like to speed them up by clicking one extra time), or like having to click through empty rooms after death (that was not so bad because you don’t die that often, and player naturally feels it as punishment for losing a life).

\n

I think mathematically it was quite competent. I wonder how big is the margin to win, and if there are more strategies than one.

\n

In the first playthrough, I didn’t notice that I can see my life (I did for monsters though…).

\n

The thing that I like the most in other games in a similar genre is the many different paths to win. The game becomes then an exercise of turning disadvantages to not be so bad or making advantages to enforce each other. In the best games (Slay The Spire), it’s all deliberately planned by designers.

\n

Here I could see some nice ideas (like the exponentially growing cost of improvements). I’d encourage you to go crazier with possibilities, even accepting the risk that not everything is balanced perfectly.

\n

The music initially was nice but became rather annoying soon. It must be more variety or at least a mute button.

\n

All in all one of the best games I played this time. Write more :).

This game is really challenging and fun, and I’d love to try again to try and finish it. But it’s so slow paced! I didn’t realize the concept of dying to power up at first, or that the swords were a scarce valuable resource.\nThe graphics are really amazing. Love how cute the cat is.\nThe music is scary and well done.\nI wish there was more visual feedback in the game like each character moving when they attack. The time between attacks could also be drastically reduced. The room could also fill up the whole screen instead of appearing floating, but that’s just my personal opinion.\nOverall great job.

It would be nice to see the enemies and player life bar on top of each character. Overall nice entry!
