You’ve just got hired to organise boxes in a warehouse.

\n

These are no ordinary boxes… they merge when they collide and their labels change accordingly.\nNobody knows what’s inside these boxes but when they’re labelled with “13” they cannot be moved.\nLuckily, “-13” boxes can nullify “13” boxes.

\n

Your job is to ensure this warehouse is clear of “13” boxes.

\n
\n

“Not Warehouse 13” is a puzzle game in which you must swipe to merge boxes until you get rid of all the dreaded boxes labelled with 13.

\n
\n

Use the Arrow Keys or Swipe to move the boxes.

I spent way too long trying to win–I never did! But this is fun gameplay and the logic for determining which numbers to populate next must be intense. There were a few situations where I expected to never get back down to zero but then the game gave me a box I needed.

\n

Cool game!

The logic to determine the next numbers is pretty intense: It takes the whole universe to run it!

\n

I’d love to take credit but it’s mostly random (with a few restrictions)

Fun to play, difficult to master. The graphics worked well, I liked the way they bounced around.

\n

Not sure that I managed to get rid of any 13 boxes, but it was hard to know what was going on when the warehouse filled up as multiple sums were being applied at once when multiple boxes were merging.

\n

Funky popping bubble sounds.

You’re right. Sometimes when multiple boxes merge, it makes it seem like there’s some visual bugs but it’s really bad feedback to the user.

\n

The moviment and collisions are all fake though

Took me a while to win, but I finally succeeded.

Great idea, but needs balancing. Like now it’s nearly impossible to win reliably.

It does indeed.

\n

As a user above suggests, it could do with a something more clever to come up with the next box number.

\n

Additionally I had the thought of either showing where there next box would appear or which number was coming next… But I didn’t have time to implement that.

I played for a while and mostly slowly moved to getting more boxes stuck, is there a win state?

\n

It all works very well, the crates look nice!

There is! But you’ll need a bit of luck, unfortunately

Thanks for playing!

A 2048-adjacent game, but much much harder.

\n

Storing only 1/4 of the sprite by making the boxes symmetrical is a neat idea.

I was never good at sliding puzzles or threes. Wasn’t able to remove any of the 13s. Any float that wasn’t .5 felt like it was impossible to get rid of. The audio was nice though.

Somewhere between Sokoban and 2048. Great graphics and bouncing effects. The random values of the added crates makes it hard to build a strategy – you basically keep one integer and one float crate, merging the incoming ones, and hoping to add all that to -13.

\n

Oh, and once you win, the overlay with the message never disappears even as you hit the reset door, you need to reload the game.

I found the concept very interesting but difficult to master: I was only able to destroy few “13” boxes :(\nI would recommend to start with a first level without “float” boxes to help the player winning :)\nThe game is very polished and I especially liked the tutorial and how smooth boxes move.

A well built game that’s similar to 2048 or other sliding-block puzzle games. The theme is clearly integrated, it has a nice look and feel, and satisfying sound effects. Nicely done!

I would recommend to always start with the tutorial and instead have a “skip” button if you already know the mechanics of the game. The tutorial was very helpful to learn how to play the game. If I failed, the game “Nice on rookie” text stayed on top and I wasn’t able to restart the game.
