A wonderful puzzler game! Controlling the cat is smooth. Need to twist your mind around it but once I got the hang of it it was really fun!

The game has a good amount of levels so I was able to beat it in 10-15 minutes. Level 4 was very difficult, it took me a long while before I found out how to beat it. Other than that, the challenge was good.

As a really minor complaint, selecting the level from the menu didn’t work for me with enter or space key, even when you could use arrow keys.

Overall, a really solid and fun package!

Cute puzzle, completed on the first try in 15 minutes. The music is relaxing and didn’t get boring during the playthrough. It’s sad that there are few levels and the shrinking fish only appear in the last levels. Great job!

I agree with several other comments suggesting other levels. The game feels unfinished, especially because the new mechanics of the red fishes is introduced near the end.

On a side note, the description says that it supports controllers, but I was unfortunately not able to use my gamepad. Also being able to play completely without the mouse (in menus and title page) would have been a nice addition.

Great puzzle game. I almost gave up on level 3, but I made it. Level 3 was actually the most difficult level, and I discovered by accident that we could climb the fishes too, very clever. I would love to play more levels, because this was a lot of fun.

I really liked this game, the levels are nicely paced in difficulty, the graphics are cute and I liked the animations too and the attention to detail. It is a nice nod to Snakebird in 9 kB :) I wish there were more levels to play, I’d definitely spend more time playing!

Great entry. The levels are fun and increasingly challenging. The design is very cute.\nI don’t know why you didn’t release this on the mobile category, as you have a virtual game pad. Really cool idea! I was able to finish all the levels, which is not something I can say for all the other puzzle games this year.

I do wish there were a few more levels, and I’d reshuffle them a bit. Level 7 was fairly difficult, and then 8-9 were super easy. The last level even introduces a new mechanic, but then there isn’t another level to use that mechanic.

Thanks for your submission! First, I can’t know how much effort you’ve put on the game, so don’t mind me if I get cliché or repeat ideas you simply didn’t get the time (or kb) to finish. Second, great you have finished this experience!

It’s always great to see games inspired in big titles that capture the essence of it into 13kb, and it’s no smaller feat to be heavily inspired with your small twists. You took care about a great deal of details that make this a great game to play.

\n

One example is the return to the last wrong move. You could have made our non-mewtonian cat just explode into the quantum void, but instead you made sure the player had a really good experience and eased them playing out. And then the undo, which I acknowledge is a lot of work.

\n

The music reminds me of old consoles. Particularly the Sega ones. I pictured some Jurassic Park themes in the intro.

\n

I liked the puzzles and the little gotcha in there. I hope you’ll have more time later to put together more levels, you have the all the basics in here!

The concept is fun, I’ve never really seen this snake mechanic used like this before. The levels gently introduce new ideas and ramp up in difficulty, which is great.

I only wish it was more challenging and longer, I could finish the entire game in only a couple of minutes without really getting stuck anywhere. Many times the solution was immediately obvious. Also, some more twists to the formula, like the red fish at the last levels, would’ve been welcome.

I couldn’t navigate the level select with the keyboard only, had to always switch to the mouse, which is a bit uncomfortable.

Great job overall, I really enjoyed this entry!

Incredible job on the level design and music, as well as the undo button, I know that would be hard to code. I personally felt that levels 8 and 9 were too easy, you should move them before level 7 and maybe make more use of the mechanic introduced in level 9?
