Why unfinished? My mistake was my workflow and lack of design.

  1. first I made good amount of coding but I was doing this in very bottom-up way, without thinking of concrete gameplay/game goal.

  2. then I put project on hold (had other things to do)
    3. \n
  3. day before deadline I wanted to finish this, and designed clear gameplay for a player using sticky notes
    4. \n
  4. then I started implementing lacking pieces
    5. \n
  5. but was too late to create all game features (not to mention playability tests)

I overally spent 34 hours. But I learned a lot. So it was worth it.

This looks like the kind of game I’d spend hours playing. Shame it’s unfinished!

It looks like a really fun RTS game in the making. I think the AI peasants would make a really fun core gameplay loop to watch them run around the map.

Seems like a solid concept. It’s a little hard to know how it functions without more instructions, but they were moving around and doing stuff. Best of luck finishing next time!

Watching the people move around and do their tasks is quite fun! It’s a shame you didn’t finish - if you continue the game, adding in what to use each building for adn the requirements (farms by water) would be really nice.
