In this game, you will be controlling a Mongolian messenger who started an endless journey across the empire. You can switch between lanes to avoid obstacles using up and down arrow keys. To shoot birds in the sky, you can press right arrow key. You can also jump to avoid ground obstacles by pressing spacebar. Your goal is to run as long as possible before losing all Gereges.

Fun runner game, all worked well. Sounds and graphics are ok.

\n

If you want to improve they entry I would suggest adding goals or levels, run 50 metres, get a reward. Run 100 metres and so on.

\n

These games can be fun with some simple additions.

Reached 4200 points :D

\n

The addition of day and night is great and the graphics of the messenger is lovely, too. Sometimes I just struggled with the collisions (sometimes I did hit the birds while jumping and sometimes not?)

Good game, very well done! I love the horse animation and the switch day / night. The music is simple but effective.\nMaybe I can suggest you to add a simple progressive tutorial to help the player understand all the controls (up and down are obvious, but if you don’t read the instructions, space and right array are not so obvious).

Very playable classic infinite runner game. Gave me Pitfall and Excitebike vibes. My main feedback is that the hit boxes weren’t clear, nor was getting hit.

\n

Good looking game with a classic Atari aesthetic! Nice work.

5986!

\n

Nice very retro vibes.

\n

It’s near impossible to try to judge hitboxes and especially the lanes the birds are on. Actually it’s quite a common problem to make flying things position judgeable on an isometric(ish) view. Adding a shadow for them (on the correct) lane would help a lot.

\n

The collision hitbox should be way smaller. It’s just too strict, unfair even. Quite often I had no clue what I hit even.

\n

The best strategy really seems to be to just stay on the top lane. Obviously just jump the hurdles and just focus on the top most/smalles birds and shoot them when possible. But after around 3000 points it gets too fast and the arrow doesn’t have enough time to fly and hit a bird at all so it becomes all about jumping the fences. And seems like the hitbox somehow gets less strict at faster speed. But yeah then it just comes down to testing your reaction speed and hoping for a unwinnable fence+bird combo.

\n

Good job! 👍

I really like the graphics, they are very NES-like, but I wish you went all-in with the NES-vibe with fonts and animations. The music is cool.

\n

The gameplay is a little confusing at first. There’s so many birds, it’s hard to understand on which lane they are.

It’s harder than it looks, felt like a classic NES game, could do with more variety and levels.

Well, nice runner.\nUsual set - several actions - change path, jump, fire and several types of barriers. Not super diverse, but good to play for some time.

\n

Good Job!

Funny and bizarre game. It raises a number of interesting questions: Are there seagulls in the desert? Was it common for mongolian messengers to do hurdle jumping? Did the monogols ever visit the pyramids in Giza?

Enjoyed playing your game.

\n

I like the avoid obstacles over multiple tracks kinda games, it was nice to have the extra elements of jumping and shooting.

\n

The graphics were fun, I loved the seagulls.
