Solid and well-polished game, great as a tranquil sit-down VR experience. The sound effects are well-timed whenever you make a match.

Thanks Teddy. Quite surprised how much I could get in with even room left for some sounds and the seagulls.

Sound is very buggy on Firefox. It cuts off a lot and hurts my ears. It’s better on Chrome but don’t forget to test multiple browsers.

\n

Otherwise cool little game, I liked how trees grew after I completed the first level.

You are of course right, I tested on Chrome and Edge, but not on Firefox. Only after publishing I noticed that on Chrome the click sounds cut off after a couple of levels. Lesson learned for next year!

Thanks for your feedback!

Off theme.\nPlayed on a laptop. Simple, but solid.\nCould have used pleasant music as well, the ding got boring.\nGetting tiny games to work on VR seems pretty innovative to me. Too bad I don’t have resources to judge that. Gamewise it is an interesting take on majong. Seeing through the structure to the other side was a definite gain over other games like it.\nI like the symbol set used, they were easy to differentiate against one another, and the shininess of them was nice too.\nSometimes had trouble clicking one, but otherwise it controlled fine.\nAll in all this was a great, albeit simple game. It would be nice to see what else can be packed into a tiny VR game. Good job!

Ouch, you hurt me with your off theme remark :-) I even looked up what kind of windmills were used in the 14th century! But it’s perhaps not as clearly linked to the specific period as some of the other games.\nThanks for the constructive feedback!

Thank you for playing! I had hoped to add seagull sounds to polish off the background sounds, but only 12 bytes left :-P

Fun, cozy, very straightforward. Not sure how the theme fits in, but overall a nice little game.

Hi Nathan, thanks for your feedback. You’re not the first to comment on the theme, probably because for me the 14th century was more about the period than a specific event. Definitely something to think about next year.

Great Job!

Simple, but interesting puzzle, interesting method to pair generation (and unical images generation as combination of squares and dots with fill and different positions)\nInteresting, that it has a kinda story.\nGood level of work.

You’re the first to notice there is a (extremely simple) story of landing on an island and civilization slowly taking hold. Your feedback is much appreciated!

Nice game! Features well designed symbols, relaxing wave sounds, good targeting and clear game mechanics. Loved how you progress through the game and the world builds around you. The seagull is a nice touch, too. Good stuff, congratulations! :)

Thanks for your feedback. Although I kind of knew it, I was still surprised myself how much difference the small details made in the final result. The seagulls and the wave sounds were the last additions to the game but they had a big impact on the overal feeling of the game. Thanks for noticing :-)

Such a pretty game I want to keep playing :-) I have to admit I probably spent 40 minutes on it and new puzzles kept coming.

\n

I love how much importance you attached to the graphic experience as it helps a lot with immersion and retention. The seagull animation is an amazing touch bringing life to the environment.

\n

On the downside, the relation to the theme might be a bit far fetched even if I could still understand how it relates.

\n

Thanks again for the game, I might go an play again.

Thanks for playing and your very nice words!\nEven though I thought I was good on theme, your are not the first to remark on that. I’m definitely improving on that next year! :-)

I love it! The game is enjoyable, the aesthetics are well-crafted and consistent, and the controls are comfortable and intuitive. The only thing I miss is a more challenging mode, such as preventing the use of pieces that are trapped inside, similar to what happens in Mahjong. Excellent job!
