I love platform games and this has some good elements.

\n

The pixel characters were good but very small. Perhaps the background or platforms could have a texture too?

\n

The levels felt a bit samey, I didn’t get as far as the king zombie.

\n

Nice retro sound effects.

Nice idea, feels like there could be some more challenging elements to the game.

\n

Sometimes I sped up after jumping but wasnt 100% sure how my speed was sometimes slow other time fast.

\n

Run really well, improved level graphics would really help also.

Real effort on the story line, I love it, it makes you want to jump into it :)\nAlso, super easy controls, no need to waste minutes to get into it.

\n

The sound effects are both cute and a bit too repetitive. You could try to add some random distortion to each sound (for instance coin picking) so that not everything sounds the same, and yet we recognise always the same sound.

\n

For the sprites, the characters are cute, too bad the platforms don’t have any texture!

\n

(PS: Maybe you should prevent the character to jump again if we keep pressing up after another jump. I think it would improve the experience!)

\n

I’d suggest for your next game to focus only on 1 level, rather than creating multiple. Go to the point where you’re really happy with the overall quality (textures, music, enemies, etc…) and then you can add the next!

seems he speeds up the more you keep running - interesting mechanic but made it very tough.

\n

I kept just trying to go the secret route but kept falling down without making it to the end. I got to level 3

Really challenging and fun game. Pretty retro. Although the graphics are minimal, they are very well executed and consistent. I like that there’s an alternative patch through the sky, if you manage not to fall.

I love how this game was designed for speed run. The way the character increases the speed while running makes you want to think carefully about where and when to jump. It wasn’t clear to me in the beginning that the crucifixes acted as extra lives, making it possible to defeat zombies. I thought I could shoot it, but I learned it when I crashed into the first zombie. It’s a cute game with fitting sound effects. The controls also felt good.

\n

I wish the speed of the character would reach max speed faster, because after loosing my momentum, the game felt slow. That’s just a personal opinion.

I like the mechanic of speeding up the longer you run in one direction. I felt that the skeleton movements were a little too random to predict and time. They seemed to change direction randomly and kill me. Other than that, its a fun game.

The graphics made me feel nostalgic.\nIn addition, it is wonderful to prepare a sound source for each action.\nStage3 is difficult, so it’s really frustrating when I lose the boss.

Taking on the role of a treasure hunter, you must traverse the mountains, picking up as many coins as you can. Of course, nothing is ever that simple, and the levels are swamped with zombies. Picking up roseries allows you to collide with a zombie and kill it. But run out of those, and it’s game over pretty quickly.

\n

The controls are fast and responsive, and the graphics fit this style of game pretty well. It’s a shame it didn’t look like mountains (some kind of texture on the land would have been nice), but it didn’t really detract from the gameplay. The zombies are thankfully quite stupid and pretty easy to avoid in isolation, but as a group, things get tricky, fast. For some reason, you speed up if you run for a long time, but your speed is cut short the moment you turn, which takes getting used to.

\n

I managed to jump up off the top of the screen into the ‘hidden’ area but didn’t last up there for long! I made it to Level 3 but sadly didn’t get as far as the King Zombie, as I had joined his ranks by that point.

a cool platformer for 13kb.\nI wish I should move faster, like in a mario game, jump are really high and fast compare to character speed.

Seems inspired by the old Mario game. It was a bit too fast for me, I believe I would be able to get used to it if I play more.

\n

Maybe I’d need to speed run it, but that’s just not my style…

\n

At the beginning of the second level, I was surprised by a monster and killed on the spot. Either it should start with a pause, or spawn in a ‘safe’ place.

\n

I wonder how hard it would be to procedurally generate levels or parts of it.

\n

Cool, retro sound effects.
