I feel it’s not easy to replicate a game like this, you put hard work in there! But the shadow dude comes way too fast for me to even start having fun. There’s so much to this game, but it seems way too hard. Is the goal maybe to avoid groups of 3 tiles? Because I can’t move when the groups are disappearing, but the shadow dude can.\nGood graphics and sound effects.

Mad dash to the nearest clock pickup, while disregarding the colors entirely, seems to be the optimal strategy.

\nI found it a little unclear what I was supposed to be doing. Neither matching tiles nor collecting clocks seemed to be very effective at staving off death, but perhaps that was the point!

The large screen format - using the entire screen is really good and helps with accessibility too. The screen is VERY bright though - I don’t mind it too much but maybe think about different colour options for accessibility if you want to build this game out more.
\nI like the innovative thinking here, it’s very different than a lot of other games. I think the “figure out how it works” mentality of the game suits for your game.
\nThe ‘game over’ screen and stats are nice, and gives the player a sort of goal to go by. I like how you thought about the ‘game over’ screen and having various different messages (useless, worthless, pointless etc.). Having a player’s top score however would be a great addition as it would encourage players to try and beat their previous go or their best score. Having the game slow down a little would be good to give the player time to figure out how the game works exactly before being eaten by the black pile of dust!
\nBeing able to use the WASD keys would be great. Some sound effects would be great here and some background chiptune music would fit nicely with the 8-bit artwork.
