Quite a different entry, a good concept, I think with some more work you could improve on the idea.

Great concept. It was tricky to think about both sides at the same time. I like how big everything felt, like an Atari 2600 game. Nice work.

Very interesting concept and innovative approach to the topic. Unfortunately the controls are not so good, or maybe I’m just too slow. I can never avoid getting the underside twin shot, so they always die really quick, which the overworld twin never gets any damage at all. I would also probably prefer if all controls were on the keyboard instead of mouse.

Nice, I enjoyed the 2 track mechanic. Very difficult to avoid the bullets on the “Death” side. Nice job.

An interesting concept for a game, killing living things then using a dead mirroring twin to harvest the dead versions of the same thing.

The game had a Stranger Things type feel with an “upside down”.

It could do with some better graphics, but the mechanics of the gameplay are pretty good.

Taking on the role of Death and the Hunter, you control both characters at once and must deal with the onslaught of baddies running your way. The Hunter can shoot, although be careful as the bullets have a quite short range. Death can swipe his scythe, harvesting the souls in the process.

Having to keep an eye on what’s happening above and below at once is a really nice concept, although quite tricky, too! You have to get close so you can use Death, but keep a distance so the bullets work for the Hunter. The only way to avoid the baddies shooting at you is to jump their bullets. All in all, it’s quite a mind-warping experience.

\n

The only issue I had is that I would really have liked to use the cursor keys to move and jump, as I’m left-handed, which made it really tricky to control.

Really fun concept. I like it a lot. It was difficult enough to keep me going, trying to defeat the boss. Some sound and effects would be nice to make the experience better.

I think the gameplay was good. The man with the scythe was a lot more difficult to control, because I had to evade the bullets too. When the bottom floor summoned more than two monsters, it was sometimes impossible to dodge the bullets.
