A game in which you have the opportunity to experience a little adventure, namely - to see how and where it all began, and also how it all ended or did not end?

I love the intro sequence and the flavor text, that was great! Excellent writing and storytelling. Fun little adventure game. Part of me wishes that the 13 AI would have been slightly more aggressive for more challenge, but I also understand that it’s impossible to find a difficulty level for everyone in a game jam like this. Overall, very creative, great job!

\nIt’s really cool that you managed to make this with very simplistic graphics, the intro and cutscenes were smooth.
\nI think the difficulty curve was a bit on the linear side and maybe making 13 more aggressive in the later stages of the rescue levels might have made it better.
\nBut very nice game regardless!

\nIn the last level (final battle) you can fight a little harder, but I agree that the balancing in the rescue level could be better. I also didn’t want to complicate this level to allow the player to read the notes, so I left it as is :).
\nThanks for playing, I hope it was fun!

\nThe boss fight with 13 really turned things up 🔥
\nNice job

\nThe initial levels were fairly easy, just avoiding 13 and pressing E when over a cage.
\nThe animations at the start and end were great and really set the scene. Although I thought I was going to have to battle 14 when it appeared - haha
\nThe boss battle with 13 was fun once I realised what LMB meant :) after playing the the keyboard the whole game I wasn’t ready to have to use the mouse.

\nThe menu has a separate section with controls, where you can see which keys are available and their designation. However, I understand that it may not be completely obvious :).
\nAs for 14, it’s like a good idea for the continuation of the game (part 2 - soon) something like that :).
\nThanks for playing my game!

\nEnjoyed playing through and was determinded to beat the DVD menu style enemy (13), it never did hit the corner of the screen!
\nWas not expecting the boss at the end, was a nice twist / change of pace. Liked the story too.

DVD (13) randomly chooses its next route after completing the current one, and theoretically could get to the corner, it’s actually a really cool idea that could be tweaked somehow to make it even more fun! Nice to hear for a change of pace too :).

\nI enjoyed the last boss fight, but clicking the mouse on a track pad got a little tiring, haha. I wonder if for the sequel (perhaps titled “How It Ended”) there could be an auto-shoot function (like holding down the mouse button).
\nOverall a lot of fun!

\nIf you use a track pad instead of a mouse, it can really get a bit tiring :D, however you can warm yourself by converting kinetic energy into internal energy on those cool autumn evenings :).
\nActually, you can come up with a lot of plot twists, since the ending is specifically left open, so… :).

\nI wonder if this story is still going on since the big bang, since there’s an infinite amount of numbers to go through!
\nThere’s no audio so I don’t know how I would rate it!

\nAs for the never-ending story idea, it’s actually a good guess, maybe so, maybe not, either way, here’s how it started, and what happened next? This is another story ;).
\nUnfortunately, I didn’t have time to add music, but maybe it’s for the best, I think it would be difficult to choose such music that would deepen the immersion in the story, so grab what you have and don’t give it away ;).
\nAs for evaluation, for this, criteria were introduced from different directions, one of which is music, so the evaluation depending on the criterion can vary greatly, I think this is the idea of evaluation criteria, in order to be able to divide the evaluation by criteria, instead of the average for everything .
\nThanks for playing my game!

\nA few feedbacks,\nToo bad you’re missing some audio, a nice little touch would have made the game very enjoyable to play.\nI feel the “Press space to continue” is a bit cumbersome when reading the story as it keeps popping up. Maybe always showing it with lower opacity, or in the corner of the screen would have made the intro more enjoyable.
\nOverall the game, is really well made, nice animations, nice story.\nLove it

Thanks for your submission to js13k!\nI’m sure you’ve worked hard on your game, but I’m not aware of how much time you spent on it, so excuse me if things I mention were in your mind, but got left out in the rush of the month or just because you hit the 13kb limit :)
\nI’m glad you noticed the consistent of events, I tried to achieve this! As for the graphics, really simple graphics were used here, moreover, no media resource was used, only canvas, only hard core :D.
\nThis time I wanted to make a game with some context so that the player knows exactly what they are playing, not just how to play it, so I came up with and added a story to the gameplay. It was also necessary to somehow show the player when the story is going on and when the game is going on, so the cinematic effect helped a lot here :).
\nI’m glad you were able to play the entire rescue level! I knew that just rescue could be boring, so I tried to add some notes to keep it interesting :). It’s a pleasure to know that your idea worked!
\nHumor is an integral part of this game, so I’m glad to hear that people were able to laugh a little :).
