To your surprise, you’ve been promoted to manage a hell pit. You. A lowly demon, now working with upper management! Your dream come true!
\nWelcome sinful souls, build the right torture devices, extract their misery, pay your demon torturers, keep the hellish afterlife moving!
\nStart with the tutorial, it should explain most things.
\nUse WASD to pan around and the Mouse Wheel to zoom in and out.
\nMonetisation:
\nHad fun playing this.
\nThe tutorial was a bit long which made me feel like the game was going to be complicated, but it wasn’t too bad once you got the basics.
\nThe graphics were a bit small.
\nThe isometric view was good, as was the ability to rotate the level.
\nThe music felt a bit upbeat for a game on the theme of death.
\nThe mouse wheel to zoom didn’t work unless I held Ctrl, but I don’t think that’s what you meant in the instructions.

There’s a lot going on here and you even after the tutorial there’s a bit of a learning curve. I’m surprised at the complexity of this game and the thoroughness of the tutorial given the size limitation.\nI ended up being fired because I destroyed too many souls. I’m not sure what I was doing wrong. I was welcoming sturdy souls and hiring the best demons. Maybe I’m not cut for being a manager after all.\nThe graphics are nice, although the UI sometimes didn’t fit (like the menu buttons). The music was a nice touch.

Impressive quantity of UI controls, units, and buildings. I liked the tutorial, but I was still a little lost when it came time to start playing. I want to come back to this one and give it some more time. Congrats, nice job.

For me it’s just a bit too much to take in though. For a game jam game, there’s too much to learn.\nHowever, the presentation is top notch, graphics are good, and the audio is outstanding. Great use of sound effects, and even the subtle sounds when hovering an option add a nice feel to the UI. So overall I still really like this one, I just think, at least for me, having a bit simpler gameplay will let more people spend more time with your game.

Played through 3 times, and felt like I was understanding the mechanics more as I went along. The tutorial was well-explained enough to get me started. Good music and sound effects.

The sound design is atmospheric enough to keep you invested, and the Web Monetization bonuses are good boosts that don’t break the balance of the game. It’s fun to build up a little empire but controls could be optimized by allowing a way to cancel a building selection without trying to place it.

I also like that we can zoom in and out, rotate the map, and pan. Add “space” + “mouse dragging” to pan and it would have been even easier to control.\nI like the music and sound effects. They feel right and provide good feedback to the player.
\nSize and color of the buildings made it easy to distinguish them, but some other textures could probably make it even easier. Good job on this entry.

The game itself was hard for me to understand and I’m the kind of a player who hates to read long tutorials. Even if you revealed new features one after another I wanted to test the first one before reading about another one. So maybe the tutorial should be more interactive and show how the features impact the game… But let’s focus on the Coil bonus, as I’m here to say something about it. I like the idea of the bonus - it’s good to have this little extra something and decide whether I want to use it or not - so good job on that. I like that you’re showing a refresh button on the non-coil-active version of the game and inform players that they can activate WM and get the feature. But I would like to see some kind of a GUI element that shows the refresh button is something exclusive for Coil Subscriber. Right now if I wouldn’t read the description of a game I would not know what the bonus is. But you’re definitely winning in the funny plot category ;)
