You are a grim reaper.

\n

You were sent to the world of mortals to take care of ending the lives of the ones for which time has come.

\n

But… There’s something off with this world. People who haven’t been killed on time seem to be transforming into bloodthirsty demons. Don’t you ever try to get close to them in this state!

\n

You’ll need some tips on how to survive, so listen:

\n

Try to kill as much people as possible, by just colliding with them.\nYou can only kill them when their time has come. You’ll know it, by looking at their life progress bars above them. When the yellow line reaches a red section of the bar, it’s time to harvest.\nAvoid people transformed into demons. They can kill you.\nThe only keys you need are W A S D

NOTE: The game has a very bad support for window resizing during gameplay, so please have that in mind :)

The concept isn’t bad but you really. need to support moving diagonally. That would make it a lot more fun. Otherwise not bad!

Interesting approach on how to eliminate your targets. I didn’t get it at first, but understood it from level 3.

Simple and fun little game, I like the idea of it, especially them turning against you when you miss the opportunity. Diagonal movement does indeed seem necessary in the later levels. Would also be interesting to see the level design change a bit. Pretty good overall!

I like the concept of the game, and the simple gameplay.

\n

The game was easy to pick up, but I did try to move diagonally which didn’t work.

\n

I wasn’t sure how many collisions were needed for each person before they were wiped away. Or what the red/green indicators above their heads were for.

\n

Was there an end to the game? I didn’t see one, it was a continuous wave after wave of people.

\n

I’d be interested to see where this game could be developed with the addition of new functionality.

Woah this is hard. Nice game. It’s a really stressful game, having to look at all mortals at the same time and then chasing them. I feel like my character is too slow for all that. Good one.\nCute graphics and sound effects.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t move. I have “search as you type” enabled in my browser, so every time I press a key it brings up the search. You should call .preventDefault() for all keyboard events to prevent this.

I liked the idea how challenging it is. In the advanced levels it’s hard to follow the people, and the strategy gets a bit too random. You just run frantically hoping you catch somebody. I wished also that the indicators were a bit easier to read. My score was over 100! :D

Interesting little game. I think I’ve got quite far.

\n

Initially, I thought it will be a more continuous process. I admit that discrete levels have their charm too.

\n

The first levels were easy, just figure out the order of harvesting, because colliding too early has no consequences.

\n

Later it was just too many, so a mess, where you randomly try to harvest as many as you can, then survive and get to the door.

\n

I think at some point there is a need for new mechanics instead of just increasing the number of people. Not sure what it could be though, because, with the current flow, additional walls or patterns wouldn’t really work.

\n

Maybe if the game was slower, you would have a chance as a player to think more and this would allow for deeper mechanics. I’m not sure.

\n

One thing to note is - it feels like a complete, finished project.

Simple and effective! I love simple games like this. I would love some diagonal movement and a music theme in the background! It would be nice to always have the player score present so we know if we already have a new higher score!

Nice entry! Adopted different strategies as the people became more numerous. Got to at least level 20. Liked the simplicity, felt tuned, challenging, and liked the sound effects.

I like the challenge that I need to try and keep an eye on the health bar of all of the people on the level and harvest people when their time has come. It quickly becomes super hard though when there are more than a handful or people. I found that circling the level and hugging the wall made it relatively easy to harvest as many as possible while still dodging the ones that were transformed to demons.
