The true story of a brave Knight who went forth and conquered kingdoms to become the rightful King.

Collect small rocks to throw at baddies, rulers of Kingdoms and general terrain to aid you progress. Rank up your nobility to become King and ultimate ruler, if you can be bothered.

Great start screen.

\n

The character feels a little slow and hard to control, but the game is pretty forgiving – even if you barely miss the jump, you can still save yourself on the edge.\nFeels chaotic, but in a good way. Also a nice detail that enemies can lose their helmet.

\n

A little dangerous: I hit ESC to pause the game. But ESC quits to the title screen.

I never thought about that, I thought ESC was default for Quit :) but your right, pause with an option to continue or quit would be way better.

I think it may be accidental but when the knight starts to rotate due to getting caught on the edge of a collision box, it makes for very funny situations.

\n

I liked that you had to jump on the rocks to break them into smaller ones - though that wasn’t very obvious.

\n

The way the knight moved felt a bit clunky at times but once you get used to it, it’s not so bad.

\n

Pretty enjoyable overall.

Impressive physics engine, and challenging gameplay, the player is a little tough to control however

I loved the physics and the whole concept. I wish the controls were a bit more responsive, though. The physics are awesome!

\n

I managed to kill the boss giant but failed to get the crown because I fell through a gap in the map… :’)

Cool physics based platformer!

\n

It got a little too hard too fast imo, with the single width platforms starting in level 2, especially considering you can’t control your character in mid air. You should let the player adjust the characters speed in mid air. It’s not realistic of course, but it feels more fair, especially for landing on tiny platforms.

\n

But I did still enjoy it. Anything physics based is always cool to interact with, and I had fun playing through!

I like the physics in this game. Got my vote

very fun to have 2D physics in a platformer

Thanks to your code :) pretty pleased with what it was capable of and how easy it was to implement in my project. So thank you again for making it available.

I enjoyed knocking the fat king’s crown and all the other nice gameplay touches. Cool character design. When I saw the helm of one of the enemies fell in the pit I almost jumped there to try and get it haha. Missed a jump sound. Super curious how would that game feel with different speed / gravity / heaviness on the physics..?

Nice physics and fun game play, would have been good if the character rotation continued rather than resetting after falling jumping.

\n

Quite chaotic but fun, nice pixel art.

Well, interesting variation, but not a really obvious game.\nThere are some problems with controls.\nBut it’s playable in general.

A fun game. Cute graphics and good soundtrack.

\n

The platformer physics worked well, and I liked the rotating boulders bouncing off stuff.

\n

The boss (king) was pretty big and hard to defeat, but did manage to steal his crown.

\n

I seemed to run out of rocks to throw quickly, and wasn’t sure how to get them back again.

Yes, not enough rocks. I realised a bit too late but I’ll definitely look at in v1.1.

Interesting concept, really enjoyed the procedural nature of the game, this is a great starting point for a mobile game.

the ability to move mid air would make it easier to play, and why is it rotating like this out of random reasons, nice graphics and gameplay.

I’m going to try out controlling the player mid jump in the post release. Its built using physics, things rotate with inertia, momentum and interaction with the environemt, a bit like in real life really :D

Execution of the theme: I love the storyline in combination with the art, game play and audio.

\n

Gameplay: It’s quite a solid game given the limitations, some suggestions on how to make the game even better:

Overall, a super fun game that I would love to play more!
