Nice clean game! It was hard to predict where the cat would jump. I found myself mostly waiting for platforms to converge horizontally rather than risk a lateral move.

I had no controll over the jumps movement of the clouds made it so confusing how to go like i want go left it go right and if i want go right it go left, trying to stay in middle don’t work either, the mew sound is cool, and since its a minimal the gameplay is very fitting for a hard endless game, if only i could get passt the first cloud. it need practice to be able to get the hang of it but then it become easy, the scroll for diffculity does not add much of a difficulity but is a good addition to it. well done and good luck

Buggy on mobile, cat could suddenly launch in a near 90 degrees angle despite clicking above it. Otherwise a very normal cloud jumper game.

If you want the cat to go vertical, click on the middle of the screen. All the clicks are relative to the middle of the screen, not the cat.

Controls are tricky though: they are relative to the screen center instead of the cat’s position, which feels unintuitive. It could be fun if platforms slowly descended to encourage climbing higher.

The game is decent as it is right now, but I believe you could add some features like a soundtrack; different platforms (scoring more or for example a platform you can jump through); as well as make the controls a little better, since those are not really intuitive (they are handled based on the mouse position relative to the screen, but I think it would be better if it was handled relative to the cat’s position). I like the cat sound :). Simple endless game. But on my machine movement feel a little sluggish (irrespective of being relative to screen). It might be more engaging if there were items to collect along the way.

The controls are not so clear. I was clicking on the left or right side of the cat, only to realize i should click on the right and left of the screen. This might make sense on mobile, but it’s not intuitive on desktop.\nGame play is really hard, as calculating the distance needed to jump, while also calculating the position to click on the screen, is quite non-intuitive.\nI like the cat sounds.

I found it pretty hard to play with the mouse and easier with the tap on the phone actually. I’d agree that the horizontal direction should be relative to the cat rather than to the screen.

Very basic graphics that could’ve been improved a bit as the package size is still small. Also, some background music would be nice.

Thanks for your submission! First, I can’t know how much effort you’ve put on the game, so don’t mind me if I get clichĆ© or repeat ideas you simply didn’t get the time (or kb) to finish. Second, great you have finished a complete game!

I liked that you added some sounds and made the feedback of my actions be an sound effect. I also enjoyed the difficulty meter – the easy was pretty easy indeed and I don’t think I managed many lands on the hard mode. This was funny to me because the horizontal velocity didn’t change, only the cat’s air time.

On the playability side, I was confused many times that the origin of the click was on the middle of the screen and not over the cat. Over and over I’d send it flying in the wrong direction because I clicked over it instead over the center.

I think you could have a much more interesting game if you worked a bit on the rewards structure. Right now I fall, I lose 5 points, I land correctly and get 1. It made me lose interest quite quick – it’s hard to hit the jumps correctly but then I’m no better prepared or rewarded for the next jump. I can picture, for example, a combo system, where for each jump I hit, the score got would be increased. I could then picture me getting really anxious when I’d start to hit multiple jumps and get way more satisfaction for each subsequent ones. The more I’d improve, the more each jump would mean for me.

The controls are a bit too hard for my taste. It is very hard to successfully land on new platforms and I often ended up falling to my death. Perhaps if I could do some kind of double jumping then I might have a chance to correct myself? But I also fall pretty fast so it’s hard to correct after the fact.
