Fungi decompose the dead. In this game, it is the player’s objective to decompose the dead creatures. They are composed of molecules that can be dragged and rotated. When all molecules are dropped off the grid the level is completed. Molecules are moved by drag and drop and rotated with Q and E around the clicked grid position.
\nAlong with the game, I am submitting the level editor where players can create and share their own puzzles. They can draw on the grid. A molecule can be selected for editing with Q and E. Individual pieces of a selected molecule can be removed by clicking them. An entire unselected molecule can be removed by first toggling the delete mode with D and then clicking anywhere on the molecule. Try drawing first. Then, press E to move the selection further and create a new one. Colors will be assigned randomly upon creation and can be adjusted. Finally, the share button generates a link to be shared with friends.

Nice to have music, though the repeating dissonance can get to be a bit much. Level editor is a really nice touch, cool game :)

I have “search as you type” enabled in my browser, so every time I press a key it brings up the search. You should call .preventDefault() for all keyboard events to prevent this.
This is an excellent game with some really tricky puzzles. I didn’t get much past the first couple of levels.
\nIt was good that the game had music, but as it sounded randomly generated it was good that it was off by default.
\nPerhaps a hint system would be good if the game thinks you have been stuck for a while. When none of the pieces can be rotated or moved at the start of the level (or at least that I could see), it feels like the difficulty should ramp up more slowly.
\nIt would be good to have something to work towards, like a time limit per level, or number or moves or rotations.

It even has a level editor. Nothing bad to say, with enough levels this simple idea has a lot of potential. Awesome job!

The one thing I slightly struggled with was rotating molecules (I could never quite tell where the centre of rotation was). A neat idea with lots of potential though. Could be a great mobile game.

You have to drag each molecule strand off the grid, eventually decomposing the creature. However, you cannot drag them through other strands, so it’s all about picking the right one and moving it in just the right way in order to complete the level.
\nYou can also rotate the molecules, but only if there is room for them to do so. It’s not always clear from which point they will rotate, but some levels are literally unsolvable without doing so.
\nThe concept is original, although I found it genuinely hard after just a few levels. It’s great to see a Level Editor built into it! And I’m very thankful the progressively generated music was off by default :)

It always rotates around where I’m clicking. I know you explained this, but it still took me a while.\nIt’s a fun game, the graphics are simple but effective. The music is a bit too random and harsh for my taste.\nIt’s pretty challenging. I found myself often stuck clicking everything looking for loose pieces. The rotation is sometimes not intuitive but the whole puzzle is very well conceived.\nI felt the controls were a bit janky. I’m not sure how to explain, but I think they could be a little softer.\nThis game relies very heavily on color. I’m not color blind, but some colors were so similar that it was hard to tell them apart. If I was color blind (which is very common, like 10% of males), or just old actually, I wouldn’t be able to tell most of these colors apart. Would be great to either have a color blind mode or different textures on each color.\nBut I digress. The game is really nice, and I love what you did with the level editor and sharing levels.
