You are on the verge of DEATH. Collect enough collection of life and get out of the RED WALLS.

Would have felt more natural to use shift to run, and F for the flashlight.\nI also noticed the UI doesn’t show when in full screen (after pressing F).
\nI do like the idea and am always impressed when someone puts together a first person game for JS13K.

\nUnder chrome it did run but was too dark. then I discovered the torch.
\nThe 3D was impressive and the music was good with a creepy eerie vibe.
\nI didn’t see the enemy but suddenly wasn’t able to move, when I came out of fullscreen I noticed all the OSD elements reappear to tell me I was dead, maybe they should should in full screen mode too?

\nThe lighting and massive maze was impressive. The music and sound effects nailed that spooky vibe.
\nHad some crashing troubles and input issues on Firefox (holding Ctrl and using WASD did not prevent default actions like making a bookmark or closing the tab)
\nThe only thing that would have made it creepier would have been some kind of noise when a reaper was about to attack. Like a creeper’s hhssssss
\nVery well done.

\nBut I assume you tried to make a horror game, then you made some key mistakes.\nMost scary thing is obscured danger. Danger that is unpredictable, that you don’t know for sure, where.
\nBut in your game enemies are the most visible and predictable thing, easily controllable. I recommend reading on the topic and trying playing Amnesia:Dark Descent if you haven’t yet.
\nSome diversity in environment would help a lot too, samey corridors get boring very fast.

Maybe it should be called stamina or something. Also curious that the battery regenerates somehow. I couldn’t find the exit, it’s quite a hard game, extra points for extra spooky, specially with the soudn effects and music.

I have “search as you type” enabled in my browser, so every time I press a key it brings up the search. You should call .preventDefault() for all keyboard events to prevent this.
3d level reminds me a bit of old Wolfenstein.\nYou have a trade-off between not seeing anything or attracting grim reapers.\nI think it would work a bit better if they just move in some half-predictable patterns. Not really knowing where you are but sometimes doing unpredictable things.\nThen you need to see where they are and try to get from cover to cover, avoiding using all the resources.
\nHere, after a moment when I was trying to figure out controls, there was not much challenge. They are too predictable.
\nIt all went well until I clicked ctrl+w and closed my tab…

\nHad fun figuring out the maze in the dark, but only found 6/20 items before getting bored.
\nOriginally thought the ghost only shows when you turn on the flash light, but they are visible all the time, so i just need to use as little flash as possible.
\nThe screen effect and sound effects were on point, giving me a tiny bit of anxiety when i don’t know where “they” are, but are definitely around.
\nover all, a solid attempt in trying to make this genre of games.
\nTo improve, we need more stuff to do than walking around with a torch. Either give the ghosts more ways to hunt us, or let us have some ways to manipulate the ghosts, or let us mark places we have been.\nThe time being idle is too long in this game.

Or at least close to it. The music is really scary, and the game fits the theme.\nIt was a bit difficult to navigate around. I never knew where I was. Maybe some pictures on the walls, or statues on the floor would help me understand better where I was.
