\nI like the concept, thought it was going to be a different type of puzzle and then was very happily surprised. Also this fits the theme quite well!
\nIf you’re looking for areas to improve, I think the jumping could be polished a bit, and platform graphics could be more varied.

\nCool take on the theme. The music is fun, and the “winning” fanfare is great. The colour animation on the words (ie. when you get to 10 it goes red) is a nice touch.
\nThe 8 bit animation on Dot is great too - nice work (ie. claps hands when reaches the goal).
\nFun and easy game to play - good intuitive controls.
\nI got stuck on the six ladders; could only work out how to do it in 13 moves, but it kept exploding on the goal line. Nice work though!

Awesome game, great use of the theme. I completed in 630 something steps, I have no idea how you can complete in < 300 steps, that will have to remain a mystery. The whole vibe of the game, the graphics, sound and music remind me so much of Dangerous Dave II, one of my favorite games.

\nThe pixel graphics were well designed and worked well.
\nThe music was funky as were the sound effects.
\nThe levels were challenging and looked well designed, although in places just touching the goal felt it should have been enough instead of needing to be on top of it.
\nIt felt a bit harsh for a directional jump to take 2 moves away
\nI got stuck on the level with the 6 ladders.
\nPerhaps a suggestion for improvement would be to allow jumping through platforms from below (although I know form experience that this isn’t trivial)

Sometimes my inputs got counted twice, not sure if this is a bug or just a quirk of the controller. As others have said, the ladder level is a difficulty spike that requires you to learn that you have to use diagonals. It’s actually a very clever idea, but maybe should have been the final level, or closer to it. Once I realized that, I actually noticed I was able to change diagonals without it counting against me and finished it very easily though.
