Really nice graphics and concept, kind of reminds me of Illbleed.

However, having to tap a direction to move was way too annoying to continue playing. Let me hold the direction I want to go and move me that direction. Show me the danger warning and I’ll let go. I just don’t want to tap directions 100 times.

Tweak controls and I’d really love to play again, I had Illbleed back on Dreamcast forever ago and really liked it. I think this could legit be a fun game!

I really like the graphics and camera angle you chose. this is a really cool mashup of minesweeper with a traditional roguelike movement, and would make a fantastic and addictive casual/mobile game. great work.

Oh gee. This game looks really fun. The graphics and animations are super smooth, and I like the sound effects.\nBut the part where I randomly fall in a hole and die isn’t fun, it’s only frustrating. There’s no skill involved in that, it’s always a 1/3 chance gamble, unless i walk backwards.\nOther than that, it’s a really nice game.

Excellent low poly graphics! A little smoother controls, and more visible warnings about holes, would reduce the friction, and let the game really shine. Great work though!

I like the dialogs and the way the letters appear on the screen. The graphics are also really nice

I think movement could be better if we could keep pressing the button and advance instead of having to press it every time to move. It’s good that we automatically stop when we get a warning, so that needs to stay. I also think it would be better to move when we turn, instead of having to turn and then move. Maybe these are personal preferences, but thought I’d mention it.

Every time I die, I want to restart immediately, so a button to quickly restart without having to read the same dialog again would be nice to have.

I think this game has potential, and it was fun to play. I died too many times :D

Tip on the text on the sign. Use contrasting colors for background and foreground making it easier to read the signs.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t properly play this game. I have “search as you type” enabled in my browser, so every time I press a key it brings up the search. You should call .preventDefault() for all keyboard events to prevent this. This meant that I couldn’t throw rocks or drop breadcrumbs.

I like the game, it’s fun to wonder around a pseudo-three-dimensional isometric world.

The graphics are really good.

\n

I felt I fell down holes too easily, which was then frustrating to have to start all the way back at the start.

\n

The hints were black on dark brown so were quite hard to read.

\n

Holding a direction button down only moves one space in that direction, and only when you’re facing that way. It would be good if you could hold the key down rather than press them hundreds of times.

Couldn’t work out what the yellow right angles were for?

I especially enjoyed the wall transparency effect and different sound effect on different floors, the path finding is quite amusing with the stones and dead hats.\nSmall improvements could be made on panel text visibility and control lag.

Interesting idea with controls and way you see the map and your character, really like this one but after a while of tapping key everytime, it can get a bit frustrating.

Graphics look nice, way of displaying messages is also good looking.

I died so many times because I refused to use ROCKS! But after I used some rocks and bread I managed to finish the game! So all mechanics are really nice! I would have liked to be able to hold a movement key and the player move one by one position with a bit of delay between each movement.

It’s missing an awesome adventure music in the background! But I loved the sound detail on the different tiles you walk.

What an unexpected (but foreshadowed) mechanic! I really enjoyed this game.

Graphics look simple but beautiful, the sound provides the right feedback. I imagine this could be quite addictive.

Liked the graphics. Didn’t make it to the princess, died a lot! Like the different sound effects depending on which surface you stepped on. Cool 3d environment and cutscenes. Nice job!
