I didn’t know the controls and tried wasd but that didn’t work. I tried arrow keys and that didn’t seem to work, but when I tried again it did. I died about 4 times before I could figure out how to play.
\nHaving a popup that i have to close every time I die is not very user friendly, just respawn me or take me back to the menu with a message.
\nI also think part of the problem is that I have a 120hz monitor, so I believe the game is running at double speed for me because you haven’t taken into account monitor refresh rate. This makes the controls more difficult, and I also seem to just die randomly even when I miss the dynamite.
\nSuggestions for next year:\nPut the controls in the description or in the game\nUse the included timestamp in requestAnimationFrame to normalize game speed for all monitor refresh rates\nScale the canvas based on the screen size.\nMore gameplay, maybe some powerups, extra lives, etc.

It’s fine to use emoji, but you need to keep in mind that they look very different in different devices. In my browser the background emoji is all blurry. In Firefox it’s not blurry but it’s not centered. Sometimes the carpets don’t seem to hit me. The whole game isn’t centered in the window.\nIt would be nice if pressing Enter would restart the game too. I also didn’t understand how I was supposed to move the card because there were no instructions in the game description.\nThe game is a good challenge though.

The controls needs to be explained first and there should be an easy way to reset the game without going to the sign in screen.

\nGame didn’t fit to browser very well, play elements seemed to overlap in a way which didn’t seem “right”.
\nI seemed to die pretty quickly with no real explanation. Perhaps having a health bar and being able to take multiple hits would improve the game.
\nI was also hoping I could drive onwards and left/right to follow a path as I was being bombarded, but the level was a static backdrop.
\nI’m interested to see a v2 for this game.
