Listen to emojis and echo them with the buttons before the slots run out! Or practice without pressure.

Nice usage of the text to voice! The international level didn’t work for me and the flags was overkill. It’s impossible, hahahaha!

A lot of the emojis didn’t work for me on windows. It’s a shame because it happened even in the early levels, so I couldn’t complete them.

\n

Otherwise I think it’s a cute and original idea, and the UI looks good, you can tell you spent time on it.

Love the idea of learning language while playing the memory game. It was difficult with more than 5 emoji, and I relied on remembering the emoji rather than learning the translation. Still a fun concept that I think is worth exploring further.

the game doesnԴ have sound on Firefox. On the phone is worked well. Nice idea, puts you under pressure when it gets faster lol

I couldn’t hear anything, so I couldn’t really play the game.

A fun idea, translated to a game.

\n

A bit like simon says, but straight in at the deep end, without a lengthening sequence. You’ve really got to pay attention.

\n

Emoji graphics worked fine for me as did the text reader.

\n

I’ll have to come back and try to improve my score.

Interesting game.\nThis voice-to-speech thing doesn’t work on Linux+Firefox, so I had to use Chromium.\nThe game is pretty simple, but also pretty hard. But at some point there was some bug where i auto-lost every level after the sounds stopped playing. No idea what that was all about.

I really like this concept! Using the browser speech API to shout out the name of an emoji at you - and you have to click the correct one fast enough. Sort of like an audio Simon Says. It doesn’t feel very on-topic for js13k this year, and lots of levels really didn’t work on Windows for me (was much better on a Mac), but that doesn’t detract from what is a very novel game and a really fun challenge.

Great idea, very good implementation, I played a few times on different levels and had fun.

A really interesting, quite innovative, concept and a fun use of text to speech. I think the difficulty curve on the main levels could have been a bit more aggressive. I had to play for quite a while before it began to become challenging, at which point it was fun to stay just ahead of it and occasionally fall behind and recover. Getting more of the gameplay into that zone could make it a much more compelling experience.

First I thought it was a memory game, but it’s more like a speed game.µfirst levels are quite easy to click fast enough, but in later levels it goes harder :) . “Red” one was really fun, as everything looks the same.\nThe idea is fine, decent graphics and cool to text the voice!

Really cool concept. I was on Windows, but could play through the first few levels just fine! Nice differentiation between each level. Liked the tutorial level, good gameplay. Nice job.

Clever little Simon Says game where you need to stay on your toes, have good memory and keep your wits about you.

Being able to choose your adventure from the start is super cool. Love the use of emojis! It’s pretty cool that you can customise your game too.

\n

Super fun and strangely addictive game. After I lost the first game super quickly, I figured it out and scored 30,000. This was fun to play and the use of emojis is great, and having themes is good too. Having the different ways to play it is also good; via emoji matching or just by sound.

\n

I played on desktop but I can imagine this being very fun on mobile where you can just tap away.

\n

Some background music would be and fun then having some sound effects would be great.

\n

I love how you wrote your next steps and what you’d do if you had more time. Shows you really care and shows you that you want to at least improve the game. Another one if you’re keen is online leader board and sharing your results. I love these kinds of things. Well done on the game.
