An interactive story about getting on a cursed elevator.
\nBut it seems you are not the first this happened to.
\nGet to floor 13 … as often as you have to.
[W][A][S][D] / Arrow keys to look around[R] to reset the camera[P] to toggle Pointer Lock[E][Enter] / Mouse click to interact[Escape][1] to pause/unpauseCool idea, the glowing eyes and text game me an Inscryption vibe. The eyes gave great effects and it was cool. I got stuck after a while though and didn’t know what to do next though. Enjoyed it along the way though, I thought the story telling worked nicely.

But you saw most of the game at this point.

\nQuite spooky when I had no idea what was coming, like the eyes in the dark. I got through most of the door numbers but got stuck after 13 was removed, had a 5 tallyed on the door.
\nI tried every door multiple times, I even managed to move floors with the doors open at one point! I eventually let the monster get me to see what would happen :D

It is lying on the ground close to the door.\nAlso a general rule is that “story” floors (usually 3 and 9) have to be visited before button 13 becomes enabled.
\nBut after loop 5 is only a very short final loop with the ending, so you saw most of the game

Very clever game, and smart use of glowing eyes to create a monster with limited code/assets. Excellent story telling. Just a very well crafted experience. Great job!

\nThe plot sounded cool, but I quickly lost interest after I got stuck.
\nNice job.

Very well done! Not to long to get bored and keeps tension. Sounds fit well, especially when the red eyes starting to chase you :)
\nCongratulations on submission!

Loved the colors of the eyes to indicate the bad one (which was funny for floor 9 over the course of the story). Liked the blinking elevator light that is very typical of scary places.
\nBecause the mouse wasn’t locked to the game I kept leaving the game window as I would look around (I play in a browser that is about 3/4 width of my screen).

I agree with other commenters that the different colored eyes were a simple but effective way to differentiate between potential allies and foes
\nThe interior of the elevator also looks and sounds nice. Very well-done and polished.

I clicked around and I think I killed the red-eyed monster by closing the door in its face. Then I was able to leave. The mechanic of repeatedly visiting the 13th floor was confusing to me.
\nI like the vibe a lot and the 3D graphics.

I was impressed with the overall presentation including 3d graphics and sound effects, great use of those libraries! The story had me engaged and I would have kept playing if there was more content.

\nThat is the second game with elevators I’ve played in this jam - both pretty scary :) People are afraid of elevators for some reason. Maybe because you can get stuck in them. A perfect match with the theme, considering people are also afraid of the 13th floor.
\nI love how simple and yet immersive it is. You are just stuck inside the elevator and can’t move yet fully engaged in the story, and accept the gravity of the situation.
\nIt was a bit confusing in the middle of the story though. At some point, I had that feeling that I was stuck not only in the elevator but also in the story as well - moving up and down and not really understanding what to do next. So maybe it makes sense to provide some hint or feedback when the player is stuck for a while moving up and down with no story progression. Maybe another note or a hint from the green-eyed character.
\nOverall, very solid and polished entry.

\nIf I had to complain about something it’s the pointer lock wasn’t on by default.

\nGood 3d model of the elevator, and the glowing eyes are looking spooky :-)

\nI got a bit confused as to how to progress. At each stage I was able to only really do one thing - which didn’t always feel like progress?
\nArrow keys and wasd just ended up doing the same thing as the mouse but much much slower.
\nI couldn’t move around, only look around and click a few things to interact, which felt a bit disconnected and linear.
\nStill the illusion of being in a lift worked well, and the “eyes” out of the door were spooky.
