Help emojis beat death by using cryonics!\nThis is an open ended puzzle game made as a tribute to Zachtronics games.

\n

The game is controlled entirely by mouse/touch.

\n

Instructions:\nPlace machines to freeze all emojis and move them into cryochambers (blue circles).

\n

Large arrow: Moves object on it to next tile\nSmall arrow: Pushes an object in front of it to next tile\nBlue diamond: Freezes object\nWhite diamond: Unfreezes object\nRed hexagon(in level editor): Simply blocks objects

\n

Note:\nObjects when frozen will get joined to any frozen objects near it.\nThe frozen objects must cover all cryochambers at the same time to get stored.

I got stuck at level 3. I couldn’t really figure out what I was meant to do. I figured out that the white arrow with like 4 tails moves them a direction and the blue diamond freezes. Through trial and error I found out the white diamond unfreezes, but idk what the blue square with the white arrow does at all.

\n

I think just more explanation would have made all the difference here. The description says details instructions are in game but I didn’t see any, maybe I missed something?

This was fun, but levels 6 and 7 seem impossible, as there aren’t enough machines?\nFun game, simple but effective graphics. Would be great with some sound effects! I could have used labels on the building blocks, as I had to revisit the instructions many times.

Loved this puzzle game. The fact that frozen people get stuck together is such a good mechanic!

A nice use of emoji, although it requires the browser to have all the ones you used available. There was a couple of times where small black unicode hex codes were displayed.

\n

I struggled to work out what each component did. Sometimes it felt like arrows worked in different ways depending on where you put them.

\n

I like the idea of the game, maybe some tutorial levels to introduce each component would help

Really fun concept.

\n

In my opinion, the puzzle game is well organised:

\n\n

It’s too bad there is no music or sound effect, as it would hook the player more!

\n

Also, maybe you could add more intro levels, so that each control is introduced one by one!

took me until level 4 before I actually went back to read your note to understand how they get stuck together when frozen and it started to make more sense. As others have said - more tutorials would be great.

\n

Couldn’t understand what to do on level 7 - 4 emojis came out but there’s only 2 machines

Got to the 7th level, and gave up there, but really great job. Loved all the mechanics. Made me think a lot, cool puzzle design and level design. Good graphics, enjoyed the details like the background and buttons felt nice.

Fun game, but really hard mechanics, started from level 3I had to learn by myself how some things works, took me time, and I didn’t achieve level 7.\nGraphics are ok, it should be nice to have fx on this game

I love how the first level is just to press play, and then understand how the game works. The second level is also good, because we get to practice what we learned in level 1. Level 3 however was a bit tricky to understand. I thought I understood the logic of the arrows from the previous levels, but it didn’t work the way I thought after all. Suddenly the emoji moved left even not on an arrow, so I got really confused. I wasn’t able to clear level 3 unfortunately. The large arrow and the small arrow are very similar, so I’m not sure what the differences are. Maybe a tutorial level for level 3 would be a good idea to better understand the differences.

\n

I think it’s clever use of emoji, and I think the idea is good.

The idea definitely have its potential, but the level design need to be improved. I felt some more explanation is needed and I really don’t get the last level. Better graphics and some music can make it more attractive. Somehow it makes me think of Mario vs DonkeyKong on DS.

Logical game, I like this one!

\n

Very cool idea, it was nice to switch from running and killing skeletons to something like this, bonus points for you :D

\n

Game has very simple design but I guess its main strength is in gameplay and solving issues with freezing bodies. I had fun with it, first levels were very easy but further things got challenging.

\n

In my opinion, with polishing of graphics, adding some visual and audio effects and thinking about difficulty balance, this could be a really really solid game that I would buy with pleasure.

\n

Nice work on this one, hope that you won’t abandon this project!

Nice one! I love puzzle games and emojis, so this is a nice combination. Finished levels 1-6, but now gave up at the last one 😔

\n

It reminds me a bit of the incredible machine.

\n

I had some smaller ui display issues related to the emojis: e.g. the “small arrow” was the larger one for me (MacOS)
