Like the idea of it! Though i haven’t finished the game but i like it! Though not a big fan of the character motion choice, i think it’s just a me problem though.

I particularly enjoyed spreading the plague! I liked how the villagers get in the way and kind of bully the witch away from collecting herbs. The animation got quite choppy and blurry a few times but it didn’t take too much away from it. Some audio would make a big difference.

I really like the look and feel.

Something’s up performance-wise. Within a minute or so, my CPU fan engaged and animation became choppy (that’s unusual on this PC).

Lots of potential in this game!

Would be good to see some sound effects and music to make it more immersive. I’d also love to see a “no materials” or similar on plant that can’t be harvested.

I wasn’t sure if we were supposed to stay away from the random people. I also hit the edge of the map when it looked like I definitely had more room to move. Would love to see the movements be a lot smoother.

Maybe start with level progression: make a super simple potion that requires one or two ingredients as a “test”, then create the ultimate cat transforming potion. Great job and can’t wait to see more.

I do really like the concept behind this game and the little story was very cute too! I found the plants to give a random amount of items and for the movement to be a little strange / doesn’t feel good. I did find the items that you can craft to be fun.

Kudos for using 3D CSS for this game.

I like the gameplay concept a lot, the movement should be a bit more “direct” (meaning “faster” and giving the player a better feeling of “control” )

The harvesting is a bit repetitive, would be nice if the witch could summon worker-cats to do the harvesting :-D

Fun game, good to explore the landscape collecting stuff, avoiding villagers and crafting stuff

I love the graphical style, the bubbling cauldron and the way the plants wobble when interacted with is really good

I felt the witch moved very slowly, especially diagonally, but I was glad to see that holding SHIFT sped up movement - although this wasn’t documented on your info

🧪 Cool idea behind the story and the 3D world. There’s no clear indicator of whether a plant has already been harvested, and you need quite a lot of them. I didn’t really see the effect of potions, but overall the game is pleasant. Movement feels a bit odd when changing direction — you suddenly slow down.

Very cool idea for a game; I am biased because my friend and I had a very similar idea for ours… check out Boots and The Black Cauldron if you didn’t yet.

I like the overall look and feel but movement speed is too slow and there is no music or sound at all either so it feels kinda empty.

\n

Also I finally crafted a potion and it gave me x3 sickle damage but I could still barely kill any villagers. I’m really not sure if I actually did or if one of them disappeared or not.

It seems like it takes forever to get enough herbs to make a potion.

\n

Overall cool concept and base game, but needs to be a bit more intuitive or quick to jump into and start doing stuff.

Fun game. I like the mix of crafting and gathering. But as far as I could tell, the villagers are not a threat, and couldn’t hurt me? The sluggish movement speed was very frustrating. Great theme fit. The 2.5D world was really cool.
