Nice simple math trainer. Graphic effects are interesting, but a bit annoying. I think it would make more sense adding visual effects to when you do solve (or fail) the task.

You have a good prototype here. I got engaged in the mechanic and I could see this being part of a game loop.

\n

You striked a good balance between the size of the equations, going from “you can do it blindfolded” to “please slowdown timer I didn’t even finish multiplying the first part”.

\n

For me it was exactly on the flow – not too hard I gave up doing the math, but not so many too easy that I turned off. Before I realised, I was at 30 points and could continue had it been part of a game.

The 3D effect is a bit distracting.

How about labelling the button « not 13 » to make the goal clear, and measure the time needed to answer for a challenge ?

I believe the game wouldn’t grab much attention from adults, but my kids enjoyed it!

The balance between the equations could be improved though. Some equations would need more time to calculate. I believe you could explore some kind of level advancement: simpler equations first, more complex equations later…
