\nFor me the A-D keys did not rotate, they did a side-step, instead Q and E rotated the view, but in 90’ steps which made me very disorientated.
\nI wasn’t sure why some floor tiles were red and some were green?

\nBut the music is really good. You should have it enabled by default!
\nedit: oh, it seems that when enabling controls, the A/D does rotate the camera. The interface is a bit confusing.

\nThe game was a bit difficult though in first person mode. It was hard to map out the maze when the movement was so quick. This was especially true if you held the move down and zoomed across the level.

You should call .preventDefault() on all keyboard events to prevent this.
Nice to have use 3D for the game. Maybe move should have been “cell by cell”. Meny times after rotation I could go stright, then rotate back, move a bit, rotate again… and too far for move again.

\nBird view is a bit of a cheat isn’t it? Perhaps you could use the bird view as a hint feature where the user can trigger a zoomed out bird view a few times (or once) per maze to get an overview and then go back to first person view?

\nI recommend the first few levels be dead simple so I can feel progression immediately. In FP view I felt constantly lost and unsure of whether I visited that spot already. Maybe on the 5-10th levels should I experience such a difficulty.
\nOtherwise, I love the 3D graphics for a simple maze game like I experienced in Castle of Dr. Brain (a very old game).

Use WSAD but also use Q and E to turn! Those keys are even more important I think, so should be included in the game description on the site. They are, however, in the ‘help’ section. There is music you can turn on, too.
\nI’m not entirely sure what to say. I mean, it’s a maze game with 13 spinning cookie sprites in it. There are no ‘baddies’ or special effects. Nothing really to excite you beyond the challenge of solving the maze - but for some, that will be enough. And honestly, even just getting something entered in JS13k is an achievement on its own.
