Cats rule the world – especially black ones ;) So, become the Black Cat – God of Egypt!
\nLead your civilization to world domination. Manage its development, control your followers, and battle hostile empires. Your goal is to conquer all territories, but beware – you cannot allow the capital to fall into enemy hands!
\nCollect and use your divine powers, which recharge faster the more tiles of a given type you control. Each use increases their cost and range. Choose wisely to shape the terrain, convert enemies, or wreak havoc:
\nFLOOD: Lowers terrain by one level in the selected area\nCONVERSION: Converts enemy territories to player territories\nBLESSING: Claims empty territories for the player\nPLAGUE: Removes all enemy units in the area\nEXALTATION: Raises terrain by one level in the selected area
\nClick on a fully charged divine power and select a target field on a map.\nMay the cat gods be with you!
\nTIPS AND TRICKS:
\nI hope you have a great time playing this game! Don’t show it to cats, they might take over the world ;)
\nI really wanted to make a strategy game this year – the idea definitely cost me a few gray hairs, but I succeeded ;)
\nUnfortunately, the amount of code didn’t allow me to prepare the music and sounds – I had to give up on that.
\nBest regards,\nKamil

\nWould have loved some sound effects and music to make it more immersive. An outline of the effected area for using a divine blessing would be useful.
\nA little left wing with the theme, so maybe having some cat powers or something would have fit nicely into the theme.
\nThe controls were simple enough to figure out. I liked that you could choose to speed up the game if needed. Nice work.

What did You think of the map generator and replayability? What are Your thoughts on the possibility of using different strategies to complete the game? :)

It initially looked a bit overwhelming but the UI is clear and understandable. It has been interesting to keep replaying to try different strategies to see what the best combo of powers are. Even though it is a game there’s something a little unsettling about sending a plague or a flood to kill people, LOL.
\nYou have already acknowledged the lack of music and sounds in your game notes but they definitely would’ve added a little extra.

\nI think a couple of tweaks might have helped me grasp the mechanics a bit quicker:
\nAnyway, I’ll try again on Easy and see if I can beat it. Cool game!
\nEDIT: I could beat it on Easy!

\nThis game gave me some flashbacks to good old god-games (like Populous, Powermonger, and to some degree even Civilisation)\nI like the terraforming and the supporting of my own tribe.
\nThe game has good foundations, and could be expanded to something incredible. (for instance: give the player the control over which divine power should be charged - either directly or by placing different altars, let the player give commands to the tribe to build a wall or something like this, maybe the option to sacrifice some regions to boost a divine power, etc.)
\nMy first try outs of the game, some days ago didn’t made me want to judge it, i simply had no idea what its all about.
\nAnyways, after reading the manual i found it was a very good game, and i had fun with it, and even won. And i think, i will play it again.\nCongratulations!

Therefore, in subsequent turns, a border clash often occurs and the new settlement (or part of it) is lost. Therefore, the easiest way is to build a new settlement in a favorable environment and allow it to develop stably. That’s why it’s so important to create favorable terrain (mountains or seas) to isolate yourself from the enemy and allow your civilization to catch its breath :)
\n*- You can also isolate part of Your enemy civilisation and then convert them - so there will be no ‘border conflicts’ :)

I was afraid the rules were too complex, but it’s not the case and I understood quite quickly.\nI found the flood/exalation reshaping the map very interesting and I appreciated the nice details such as changing the speed, re-generate the initial map…\nMaybe I missed it but I was not able to see the oponent actions, I think it would have helped me to understand why suddenly I lost my terrotories :)\nOne last thing, I got sometimes a “game over” whereas both my oponnents and myslef had territories.\nThis is really a great entry with potential for a post jam version including audio.
