Unfortunately, the cards were only partly visible, which made playing very hard. But I really liked the story.

Well done for getting all the imagery and text into 13k. There seems to be a lot of instruction/conversation before you actually get into gameplay.

Things didn’t seem to quite fit on the screen correctly. Retried at a few different resolutions.

Quite hard to play, maybe it’s better on mobile?

I like the idea behind the game, I just got lost too quickly, perhaps something to introduce the gameplay elements and areas to interact with would be good

The UI was pretty messy. I guess you made the game fit exactly the kind of font you have in your system, so it looks broken in others.\nI tried to play with the CSS a little to make it more visible, but the game is rather confusing. There are several rules on top of the blackjack rules. I got 23 points but still had to continue playing.\nThere are some sound effects, but they didn’t sound right. Just a few clicks and beeps in the beginning.\nI’m sorry if the comments all sound very bad, you clearly put a lot of work here, but from a player’s perspective, there’s a lack of polish in the game, and it’s not fun to play.\nCute cat though.

Card game with a story, and some funny jokes :).\nI can see that winning it on easy is just the beginning.

I had some scrolls and cards that didn’t exactly fit on my screen. It may be connected to my DPI 125% settings. I was still able to play.

Initially, it wasn’t obvious to me what are the rules and what I need to do. Although it’s clearly written, I had to slow down and read it all.

\n

I also wasn’t sure when it was said “we win” if it meant that I win or that my opponent was telling me that they will win (so I loose). Probably I didn’t focus on names fully so didn’t understand who is saying what…

After a moment I was able to figure it out. It seems on a hard level, the beginning is tough as you don’t have tools yet to mitigate bad luck.

\n

My son did like the cat a lot, although he didn’t have enough patience to play with it longer.

\n

I wonder how did you design the game. It’s obviously based on blackjack, but how did you get to special powers, their cost, etc? Was it some deliberate maths, or a more random process?

\n

If you don’t know it, I can suggest reading “Winning Ways for Your Mathematical Plays”. It’s a tough read though, not for the faint of heart.
